There is slight wear to the enamel, mainly as discolouration to the white bordes. The second set is in good condition with minor wear. There is damage to the enamel on the two large purple enamel buttons. They are not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gilt metal.

19th Century Black Lace Folding Parasol, double lined in cream silk with honey silk, wooden upper handle, the lower part in deeply carved ivory, silk tassel to finial; together with Three 19th Century Enamel Shoe Buckles, in navy and turquoise on white metal, stamped ''France'' inside; a Circa 1860's Hand Sewn Wide Silk Sash, in purple and raspberry, lined in glazed cotton, silk fringe at each end, cotton ties at intervals for attachment, detail in applied ribbon at each end; Black Machine Lace Scarf/Lappet, and a Handmade Black Lace Flounce (7)Parasol: the silk linings are shot. Floral machine lace cover appears undamaged. Shaft is approx. 59 cm long. Sash: approx. 23 cm wide,2.76 m long excluding 12 cm fringe. Slightly grubby. Lace scarf approx. 1.45m long, 11 cm wide. Flounce approx. 142 cm long x13 cm wide.
