A 19th century silver cased, open face, key-wind, duplex pocket watch, by James McCabe - London. The chain fusee movement with duplex escapement, and compensation balance. White enamel dial signed Jas McCabe Royal Exchange London 02831, with subsidiary seconds dial. Signed on the top plate, Jas McCabe Royal Exchange London 02831. The case dated 1899, bearing hallmarks for Chester & London. .
Three Georgian and later silver pair cased, verge pocket watches. To include an example by J Collingwood London, numbered 383. Signed around the white enamel dial, with the original owners name `William Cannon`, the letters replacing the numerals. Another by Jn Drayton Bath, numbered 1805, the third with no makers name. Each with chain fusee movement and verge escapements. (3)
Two Georgian silver pair cased, verge pocket watches. One by T Hudson London, numbered 7226, the enamel dial painted in polychrome depicting Brittania. The other watch by Ja Foxton Sutton - Ashfield, numbered 466, the enamel dial painted in sepia with a figure near a country church. Both with chain fusee movements and verge escapements. (2)
