A George III silver pair cased gent's pocket watch, by John Taylor of Derby, the plain cases assayed London 1811, the watch having white enamel dial with Roman numerals, yellow metal hands, chain driven verge fusee movement with pierced balance cock, signed to the backplate and dated 1812, gross dia. 55mmCondition report: Both cases good - no dents. Hinges good. Dial with two very small chips between centre and 10 o'clock, otherwise very good with no losses to extremities or hairlines. Movement good and running. With key.

The hinge is very loose on the circular one patch box. The hinge comes of the other patch box. See attached images. We are not clock specialists and cannot comment on movement. Unable to get back door open, may just be very stiff, but dont want to force it.
