A Russian silver-gilt and guilloché enamel pill box Of circular form, decorated with translucent green guilloche enamel throughout, with applied foliate rims, the inside of the circular lid fitted with an ivorine panel, silver-gilt interior, cased, diameter 5.2cm, weight 2.6 troy oz, by Andres Mickelson, St Petersburg, bearing Kokoshnik 88 marks. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: condition is good, no chips/cracks or damage to enamel, base with very light scratches but good and clean condition.
A Chinese 20th Century famille rose planter The six sided tapered vessel, raised on scalloped bracket feet, painted in typical enamels depicting figures holding lotus flowers, amidst formal fenced gardens flanked by pine trees, 18cm high, 26cm diam. CONDITION REPORT: One small area of overpainting to the enamel. minor wear to enamel throughout, Scuffing and wear to underside of base. Otherwise sound condition.
A Sutherland Police white metal button Manufactured by J Leckie & Co, Glasgow (very rare, Ref JCG page 196) Three Forfarshire Constabulary buttons by C&J Weldon, London, Gardiner London and Glasgow and English made (extremely scarce, Ref JCG page 90), two Royal Crowns, Elginshire Constabulary Tudor crown button (rare, Ref JCG page 84), three further boards with Straithclyde Police patch and thirty-one chromed trapezoid pierced frames holding officer's number and division details (Ref JCG page 194), a gilt and enamel Straithclyde Police traffic warden's badge, also with this lot a copy of Scottish Insignia by John C Green.
A Chinese enamel lidded bowl, Kangxi four character mark (1662-1722) The 'U' form bowl, rising from a low footring with traditional scroll designs, and surmounted by a domed cover with flower head and gilt ball finial, the exterior sides painted with four roundels painted with traditional Chinese landscapes, set with auspicious characters and bamboo palms, the cover with a series of enamelled buddhistic emblems and chrysanthemum and lotus sprays, 9cm high. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Significant loss and wear to the enamel visible to the cover, bowl interior. Dents visible to the rim of the cover. Cracking visible to the enamel throughout.

A Chinese famille rose porcelain vase, 19th/20th Century Of ovoid form rising to a flared everted rim, the shoulder flanked by shishi and ring handles, painted to the exterior sides with ducks amidst water lily and lotus before a watery landscape, set within ruyi and stiff lappet borders, 62cm high. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Hairline crack extending vertically from the rim, approx 6cm in length. Extensive pitting visible to the interior rim. Extensive wear and discolouration to underside of footrim. Glaze burn to handles. Minor wear and loss to the enamel throughout.
A Japanese Kutani tray, early 20th Century The flowerhead shaped tray, flanked by twin relief moulded flowerbud form handles, the central field painted in rich red and gilt with a spiralling design of chrysanthemum, set within butterfly borders, unsigned, 41cm x 34cm. CONDITION REPORT: No Visible signs of damage or restoration. Minor loss to the enamel at the central field. Loss to the gilt at the upper rim. extensive scuffing and wear to footrim.
A large Chinese cloisonné vase and cover, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) Of globular ovoid form, rising from a straight sided footring, and surmounted by a domed cover with gilt metal flower bud finial, the exterior sides with four circular roundels filled with wrythen five-clawed dragons in pursuit of the flaming pearl amidst lotus flowers issuing radiating tendrils, 40cm high. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Vase shows overall pitting to the enamel throughout. No major structural damage, with only minor issues to the enamel. Loss of enamel to inside of cover. Small dents to inner lip of cover. Metalware tarnished, Loss to the enamel at the inside of vase.
