Both show a red rose and Irish shamrock on the gold and enamel front with "England v Ireland" round the rims. Both have hall-mark and Vaughtons noted on the reverse. Both measure approx 3cm diameter. Pin and clasp intact, no date noted but thought to be 1900s or slightly later. Diameter is 45cms. Good

SURREY SENIOR CUP 1896-REIGATE PRIORY Two Surrey County FA medals, both 1896-1897 season winners medal, Surrey FA Senior Cup and Surrey FA Senior Charity Shield. Reigate Priory defeated Weybridge 3-2 at Guildford to win the Senior Cup, 4000 attending. This was their sixth and final triumph in the competition which started in 1882. Both medals are silver hall-marked with enamel and were made by Mappin Bros. Generally good
