* A Meissen fabeltiere plate, painted in the manner of Adam Friedrich von Löwenfinck with a dog-like creature resting on its haunches in a Kakiemon landscape, a huge butterfly diving above, the shaped rim painted with a brown line, blue crossed swords mark, c.1740, some enamel wear, 23.4cm. Provenance: from a distinguished private European collection.
