dating: 1905 provenance: Prussia, Fine, single-edged blade, in fine damask, with jelman, golden inscription 'Graf von Holck s./l. Grafen zu Rantzau' on the right side and '18. August 1905' on the other, back with remains of court's manufacturer 'NEUMANN'. Impressive, gilded, brass hilt, richly decorated with floral motifs in bass-relief, guard's star on the front langet (remains of enamel), pommel shaped as lion's head. Wooden grip covered with fish skin and metallic wire binding. Complete with scabbard and sword-knot. length 94 cm.
dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Prussia, BEautiful, curved, single-and false-edged blade, with large, central fuller, in damask. Impressive, brass, gilded hilt, decorated with floral motifs in bass-relief, the front langet with a guard's star (parts of enamel missing), loop-guard with emperor's monogram 'WII', pommel shaped as lion's head, with red, glass eyes and grip covered with fish skin and metallic wire binding. Sword-knot. Iron scabbard with two, brass suspension rings on smooth bands. length 94.5 cm.
