Hippolyte François Moreau, (1832-1927) was part of the Moreau family of sculptures. Mignon is an opera in three acts by Ambroise Thomas and premiered in November 1866.

Samuel Marti et Cie, operated from 1860 in premises at Le Pays de Montbeliard, Paris, they won a Medaille de Bronze in 1860 and a Medaille d'Argent in 1889.

In 1866 A.B. Savory & Sons was converted into a limited liability company and changed the name to Goldsmiths' Alliance Ltd. In 1893 the firm went into voluntarily liquidation and the activity was incorporated by the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd.
