WW2 German U-Boat Commanders Torpedo Timer Stopwatch, fine example with white enamel dial having arabic numbers, subsidiary minutes dial. Signed “HERM BARK KIEL”. Reverse with Kriegsmarine eagle and swastika over “M” acceptance stamp and “754 N”. Housed in its original wooden storage case with brass catch lock. Top of the case stamped with the early Reichsmarine eagle mark. Appears to be in working order but not tested for accuracy, sold as a static collectable not a working scientific object.

Fine Collection of Birmingham City Fire Brigade Medals of Station Officer A Allsford 1920’s – 1930’s, the collection of 26 medals consisting of 3x 9ct gold medals, 17 hallmarked silver medals and six bronze medals. The medals all relate to fire fighting competitions won by Allsford during the 1920’s and 1930’s including Ladder Rescue, One Man Hydrant, Motor Escape, Motor Pump, Four Men Hand Pump, etc. Most have fine quality enamel work to the obverse with firefighter scenes to the centre. Three gold medals weigh approximately 10grams, silver medals 200grams.

Very Rare Original Suffragettes “Holloway Brooch” Given to Suffragettes who Took Part in the Infamous Hunger Strikes at Holloway Prison, the silver brooch is in the design of the portcullis which represents the Houses of Parliament, laid to the centre is a convicts arrow which has enamelled the three colours of the organisation (green, white and purple). Hanging from each end is a linked chain which is said to represent prison chains. Reverse has brooch fitting and is stamped “SILVER” and with makes stamp “TOYE & CO LONDON”. Brooch remains in very good condition with just some light scuffing to the enamel. This brooch was designed by Sylvia Pankhurst, it was awarded to Suffragettes who were imprisoned at Holloway Prison for militant activity with the Women’s Social and Political Union and were involved with the famous hunger strikes. These broches were first presented during a mass demonstration at the Albert Hall on 29th April 1909.

Imperial German Garde-Jager Battalion Officers Shako, black felt covering to the leather body of the shako. Leather front, rear peaks and top. Brass scaled chinstraps with single officers national cockade. White metal and enamel shako plate to the centre and bullion embroidered Prussian central cockade. Interior with leather sweatband and officers cloth lining. Rear peak miss-shaped and evidence of service wear.

Brass officers pattern chinscales with single officers pattern large reichs cockade. Silver front peak trim. Fixed fibre mortar board top with silver bullion officers cockade. Interior with leather sweatband and officers pattern cloth lining. Helmet shows service wear.
Third Reich SA Dagger by Scarce Maker August Merten Ww Solingen, standard pattern dagger with striped back wooden grip having aluminium eagle inserted and enamel SA device. Top and lower handle fittings are loose. Housed in its original anodised scabbard with both top and lower chape. Blade with motto “Alles fur Deutschland”. Reverse of the blade has the makers stamp for August Merten Ww Solingen. Some staining to the blade but generally still in good condition. Blade measures 22 ¼ cms, dagger overall 37cms.
Third Reich SA Dagger by Very Rare Maker E Bonsmann Solingen, good untouched example having the wooden handle with SA eagle and enamel SA device inserted. Good early type fittings with the lower cross guard stamped with gau mark “Nm”. The lower cross guard and top scabbard chape are also engraved with the original owners service number “23417”. Housed in its original scabbard with single hanging ring. Blade has standard motto, “Alles fur Deutschland”, reverse side with makers trade mark of the three anchors for E Bonsmann Solingen. Some surface staining to the blade but generally still in good condition. Blade measures 22cms, dagger overall 36 ¾ cms. It is believed that this maker was only contracted to make around 1,000 SA daggers throughout the entire production run, making daggers by this maker one of the hardest to find.
Third Reich SA Dagger by Gebr Bohme Nachfl Brotterode, superb untouched example with the brown wooden grip having eagle and enamel SA device inserted. The lower guard is stamped to the reverse “Sa”. Attached to the grip is a officers bullion wire portepee which appears to have been on the dagger for a long time. Dagger is housed in the original anodised scabbard with short pattern leather hanger attached. Double edged blade which remains in near mint condition with all the blacking in the motto and all the original polish and cross graining. Makers trade mark to the reverse of the blade Gebr Bohme Nachfl Brotterode. The blade measures 21 ½ cms, overall 37 ½ cms. An excellent example overall.
Third Reich SA Dagger by Richard Pluemacher Sohn, with wooden grip having eagle and enamel SA device. Reverse of the lower guard is stamped “Ns”. Housed in its original painted scabbard. Fine double edged blade with much of the original finish to the motto, “Alles fur Deutschland”. Reverse has makers mark RZM M7/83, for Richard Pluemacher Sohn Solingen. Blade measures 22cms, overall 37 ½ cms. Generally good example.
Third Reich SS Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by F Herder, black ebony grip retaining eagle and enamel SS device. Reverse of the cross guard is stamped “I”. Housed in black anodised scabbard with nickel mounts, scabbard mounts slight discolouration from grip mounts. Single leather short hanger attached to the scabbard. Near mint condition double edged blade with etched motto “Meine Ehre heist Treue”. Much of the original polish and cross graining remains to the blade. Reverse of the blade has cross keys makers trade mark of F Herder A.S Solingen. Blade measures 22cms, overall 37cms.
Third Reich SS Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger with Vertical Hanger by Carl Eickhorn, fine example having ebony grip with eagle and enamel SS emblem inserted. Nickel silver grip mounts with the reverse of the cross guard being stamped “II”. Housed in its original scabbard with mounts. Attached to the scabbard is a black leather vertical hanger, with the top clip being stamped RZM M5/71 and OLC in diamond. The double edged blade remains in very good condition with much of the original finish remaining. Etched with motto “Meine Ehre heist Treue”. Reverse side has Carl Eickhorn Solingen makers trade mark. Blade measures 21 ½ cms, overall 37 ½ cms.
Third Reich SS Officers Chained Dress Dagger, fine example of a 1936 pattern SS officers dress dagger having black ebony grip with eagle and early copper based enamel SS runes inserted. Un-marked top and lower grip mounts. Scabbard having hanging chains with SS runes acceptance stamp to the reverse. Attached to the grip is a replaced officers dress portepee. Near mint condition blade which retains much of the original polish and cross graining. Correct un-maker marked blade. Etched motto “Meine Ehre heist Treue”. Some small dents to the lower scabbard mount but generally a very good example of an SS officers dress dagger.

Housed in its original blue leather covered scabbard with top and lower mounts. Single hanging ring to the top scabbard mount. Double edged blade with SMF makers trade mark to the base. Blade measures 17cms, overall 34cms.

Housed in the original scabbard with white metal lower chape and short pattern leather hanging strap. Double edged blade with Gustav Spitzer Solingen makers trade mark to the base. Much of the original finish and cross graining remains to the blade. Blade measures 22cms, overall 36 ¼ cms. Generally a good condition example.
Third Reich RLB (Reichslufschutzbund) 2nd Model Officers Dress Dagger with Hanging Straps by Paul Weyersberg & Co, good example with black leather covered handle having black enamel swastika on eight pointed star to the centre. Nickel silver top pommel and cross guard with short wing eagle and voided swastika. Housed in the original correct pattern scabbard with black leather covering and nickel silver mounts. Mint condition blade retaining nearly all the original polish and cross graining. Paul Weyersberg & Co, Solingen makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Dagger is accompanied by the very rare original leather hanging straps complete with the metal clip fittings. Reverse of the top hanger clip is stamped RZM M5/10. Dark patina to the dagger fittings. Blade 24cms, overall 39cms. Very good example of this scarce dress dagger.
Third Reich Hitler Youth Boys Dagger by Anton Wingen Solingen, fine example of a Hitler Youth boys dagger with two piece black chequered grips. Enamel HJ diamond insignia inserted to the centre of grip. Housed in its original black painted steel scabbard with leather belt attachment strap. Press button stamped “STOCKO”. Good condition blade without motto, having makers trade mark figure of a knight to one side and the other side with RZM M7/51/38. The blade remains in very good overall condition. Blade 13cms, overall 25cms.
Third Reich Hitler Youth Boys Dagger by H & F Lauterjung, untouched example with two piece chequered grips having enamel HJ emblem to the centre. Plated mounts which show some lifting. Housed in the original blackened scabbard with belt loop attachment fitting still present. Plain single edged blade with RZM M7/6 code to the reverse, which relates to the maker H & F Lauterjung Solingen. Blade measures 13 ¾ cms, overall 25 ½ cms.
Third Reich Hitler Youth Boys Dagger by Tiger Solingen, untouched as found example with two piece black chequered grips having enamel HJ diamond inserted (some damage to enamel). Blade is etched with motto “Blut und Ehre!”. Reverse of the blade has Tiger Solingen makers trade mark. Staining to the blade and scabbard is absent. Accompanied by a cased gold grade Mothers Cross housed in its original box and enamel Hitler Youth pin badge. (3 items)
Third Reich Postschutz (Postal Protection) Dress Dagger by Paul Weyersburg, good example with black ebony handle having original metal organisations emblem attached. Original top pommel and stylised eagle cross guard with black enamel swastika to the centre of both sides. Housed in the original scabbard with metal chains and correct pattern clip fitting marked on the reverse DRGM. Under the cross guard is stamped 117 and DRP. Blade remains in very good condition with some of the original cross graining remaining, some light surface stains. Base of the blade has Paul Weyersberg & Co Solingen makers trade mark. Some paint loss to the scabbard but overall a good example of this scarce dress dagger.
Third Reich Eagle Order 3rd Class Without Swords, fine example of the gilt and enamel award fitted with Austrian pattern ribbon. Medal is housed in its original red leatherette presentation case with gilt tooled eagle and swastika to the lid. Medal ring stamped “900” and “L/50” for the maker Godet & Co. Very fine example.
Third Reich German Cross (Deutsche Kreuz) in Silver with Original Box of Issue, superb example of a silver grade German Cross retaining much of the original silver frosted finish to the wreath and blackened finish to the starburst. Perfect undamaged enamel centre swastika. The cross is a four rivet example which is complete with the original pin and catch fixing to the reverse. Underside of the pin is stamped with makers number “20” for C F Zimmermann. The cross is housed in its original leatherette presentation case. Around the top of the case is a band of tarnished colour which originally would have been silver. This is a fantastic example of a very rare to find award. Fewer silver grade orders of the German Cross were awarded compared to that in gold.
