An 18 Carat Gold Solitaire Diamond Mourning Ring, an old cut diamond star set to a tapering shank picked out in black enamel with foliate scrolls, estimated diamond weight 0.20 carat approximately, finger size I The ring is in good to fair condition. There is overall surface wear to the enamel and the shank has been resized leading to a mishapen outline. It is hallmarked with maker's mark 'F(?)&S', Chester, 1895. The diamond measures 3.2mm x 3.2mm x 2.6mm approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamond are; colour F/G, clarity SI1/SI2. There is a grazing mark/natural on the crown. An Enamel and Pearl Bracelet, split oval links enamelled in red and white alternate with pearl set links, length 19cm, with a matching circular locket pendant, measures 1.5cm in diameter (2)The bracelet is in good condition, there is some wear and loss to the enamel noted mainly from the end link. It is stamped 'RD.404453' and 'RD.405725'. In our opinion it would test as gold. May be converted from a watch chain. It fastens with a jump ring. Gross weight 20.3 grams.
