A fine Russian silver (84 zolotniki) cigarette case, with maker's mark to both internal panels, the outside of the case having affixed miniature awards for the Red Cross Medal for the Russo-Japanese War, Medal for the Russo-Japanese War, Medal for General Mobilisation, together with an unattributed 'Wrangel Cross' (a black and white enamelled Geneva Cross), its vertical arms dated '1920' and '1921', the case also applied with silver flowers and stems, and four blooms displaying rose coloured enamel stigma, also engraved with entwined monogram 'AK' to front panel and 'Nedegeba', internal compartment gilding rubbed, lightly used, 73mm x 126mm x 15mm,

An Empire gilt metal figural Mantel Clock, dial signed Z. Raingo, Tournay, c. 1806, The striding Cupid with bow and arrows and with enamelled eye, carrying a magic lantern on his back, containing the signed white enamel roman dial, on oval base with classical frieze and raised on birds claw feet, 18in highFootnotes: There is scant information regarding the French clockmaker and bronzier, Zacharie Raingo, who is thought to have apprenticed in Paris around 1790. He moved to Belgium in 1795, worked in Tournai around 1806 and in Ghent in 1810. In 1823 he was named Horologer Mecanicien to the duc de Chartres and a year later to the Royal court itself. By 1825, his clocks bear the 'Raingo Frères' signature alongside numerous Paris addresses. The firm exhibited at many of the major expositions in the last half of the 19th century, and was acclaimed for its fine ormolu work and astronomical clocks.

An Indian Thewa gold, glass and silver gilt oval Snuff Box, Pratapgargh, Rajasthan, The hinged cover decorated with hunters on elephant-back engaged with a ferocious tiger, in a forest with palms, flowering lotus and fleeing antelope on a green ground, sides embossed with beaded and foliate borders, 2 ½ in wide.Footnote: Old Pratapgarh town, now a district of Udaipur, was home to this particular artisanal jewellery craft of applying gold to foiled back enamel known a Thewa-work. Items for the European market, like snuff boxes, bracelets, caskets etc were popular souvenirs in the 19th century. Cf. Oppi Untracht, "Traditional Jewellery of India", London, 1997, p.301 for an illustration of a similar Thewa-work.

Registration number: 723404, to include: cups; saucers; side plates; sandwich plate; milk jug and sucrier. CONDITION REPORT: All good with no obvious damage. Very minor surface wear in places.Minor wear to blue edging in places.One cup has hairline crack.Sugar bowl cracked inside.The set appears to be original.

Two enamel and seed pearl brooches, the first modelled as flower, the leaves with opalescent enamel, a small seed pearl to the centre, 22mm wide, stamped '14k', 4gms; the second designed as a cresent, three flowers within, also stamped '14k', 2.9gms (2) CONDITION: losses to enamel on both brooches.
An Indian diamond, ruby and enamel ring, the square cluster composed of alternate table cut diamonds and cabochon rubies, in a closed back setting, enamelled to the side, back and shank, mounted in yellow metal (tests 18 carat gold), finger size H/I, 10.9gms CONDITION: diamonds heavily included, rubies of nice red colour, but four of the five with surface reaching inclusions and heavy mineral inclusion within a side stone.
Motoring interest:- a brass eight-day dashboard clock with provision for dashboard mounting and winder at 6 o’clock, the movement marked ”Brevet 33236” and “Doxa”, the white enamel dial with skeleton hands and numerals, associated with a silver faced case, Birmingham, 1946 The clock is in good going order and condition apart from a fine crack on the dial, the case AF with missing strut and bruising to silver.
Three rolled gold wristwatches, including a 1920s Waltham manual wind cushion case, another mid-sized watch of the same period with cylinder escapement, and a 1950s Wittnauer lady's example, together with a small gilt metal and enamel Fero fob (4) CONDITION: Wittnauer movement functioning, no strap. Waltham missing winding stem. Waltham and cylinder watch not functioning.
A 1920s silver half hunter wristwatch, the screw back case import marked Edinburgh 1926, the white enamel dial with Arabic skeleton numerals, skeleton hands, and subsidiary seconds dial, with 15 jewel manual wind movement, the case 32mm diameter, together with an open faced example of the same period, 58.6gms gross (2) CONDITION: the first functioning, enamel dial with hairline fractures and badly chipped at the edge of the dial. The second not functioning. Enamel chipped at 6 o'clock.
Two early 20th century silver fob watches, each with decorated enamel dials, engraved four piece cases and bar cylinder movements, the larger key wound, 66.6gms gross CONDITION: both movements functioning. Both in good overall condition although the larger has a hair line fracture to enamel dial.
DOXA, a nickel dashboard watch, the large white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, blued steel spade hands, and subsidiary seconds dial, with DOXA 8 jewel movement, 65mm diameter CONDITION: movement not functioning. Rust deposits to hands, crystal with very small nibbles around the edge.
An early 20th century 9 carat gold fob watch by Waltham, the white enamel dial signed 'A.W.W Co Waltham Mass', with black Roman numerals, and fine blued steel spade hands, with signed 7 jewel Swiss lever movement no. 11366764, the case hallmarked Chester 1905, with gilt metal dust cover, 34mm diameter, 35.4gms CONDITION: movement functioning. Hairline cracks to the dial, bruises and pin head dents to case back.
A George III silver pair cased pocket watch, the cases by William Mean, London 1817, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, the verge fusee movement with finely engraved and pierced balance cock, flat three armed steel balance, Tompion type regulator and cylindrial columns, numbered 65087, 54mm diameter CONDITION: one hand broken, fusee chain damaged, case in good condition, with three watch papers.
A French 18 carat gold fob watch by Cazal a Paris, circa 1830, the four piece case with French poincon, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and fine Breguet hands, the dust cover signed and numbered 5724, with key wound bar cylinder movement, 30mm diameter CONDITION: hairline crack across dial, movement appears clean and balance swinging, dent and wear to engine turning around edge of the case.

Enamel bubbling a little in areas.
Ten French silver tea and coffee spoons, each with town arms finials and respective name of town inscribed in bowl; four silver souvenir spoons with enamel armorial finials including a Swiss example with enamel bowl depicting Chillon Castle on Lake Geneva and a Canadian example, the bowl chased with the Victoria Bridge, Montreal; four English silver apostle-end coffee spoons; a thistle-end coffee spoon, London, 1924; a silver-gilt Annointing spoon demi-tasse spoon, London, 1936; a silver souvenir spoon with arms of Glasgow finial; 2 plated coffee spoons and 3 plated souvenir spoons with enamel finials, one shipping, the other two coats of arms, one of these with enamel bowl (chipped to right edge of bowl), weighable silver including partly-enamelled items 258 gm.Overall good condition apart from already mentioned chipped bowl, also Hastings arms plated spoon with some wear to plating.
