A 19thC French ormolu and Sevres porcelain clock garniture, the lyre shaped clock with a mystery type pendulum inset with cut glass, the enamel dial signed Kinable, Paris and decorated with floral swags on an oval base, flanked by a pair of four branch candelabra, each of urn form on a tapering base, the clock 50cm high.
A gilt & patinated bronze mantel clock, Bolviller Late 19th / early 20th century, French, the twin train movement stamped ``Bolviller / a Paris`` within an oval and ``176``, and further stamped with ``Japy Freres / Medaille d`or`` seal, the circular white enamel dial also marked ``Bolviller a Paris``, with black Roman hours and steel hands, within a floral-cast bezel beneath a beveled glass aperture within a shaped oblong case cast with a floral garland and foliate scrolls, with pierced sections backed by white marble panels, surmounted by figures of a cherub and a maiden seated to each side of a bird`s nest, 15`` H x 17`` W x 5`` D, est: $1000/2000 Condition: Overall good condition. Lyubavin`` (Alexander Veneniktovich Lyubavin) in Cyrillic and with left-facing kokoshnik, 88 standard, each with a tear-shaped bowl decorated with scrolling foliage in cobalt, azure, turquoise, white and green on a stippled ground within a border of white dots, issuing ribbed octagonal handles with green and azure flower and turquoise crown-form terminals, 6 pcs, each 4.125`` long, within a silk and velvet-lined fitted wooden case, the case stamped to lid interior with Imperial warrant and maker`s name in Cyrillic, and with plaque to exterior lid engraved ``M``, the case 1`` H x 7`` W x 4.75`` D, est: $800/1200 Provenance: Property of a Private Collection, Burbank, CA. Meissen Paire de perruches des Indes perchées sur des troncs d`arbres ornés de cerises et feuillages, une perruche portant à son bec un morceau de sucre, l`autre perruche tenant une cerise dans son bec, décor polychrome. Trace de marque au revers. Modèle de Kaendler. XVIIIe siècle, vers 1741. Haut. 29 cm et 32 cm Les registres de la manufacture de Meissen signalent que Kändler a travaillé sur ce modèle de perroquet (Psittacula Krameri, vivant en Afrique, Inde et Chine) en juin 1741 : " Vor Ihro Excellenz die Frau Comtesse Von Moschinska einen Indianischen Vogel dans Ziemlicher Grosse à déroger Logis nach dem Leben in Thon poussiret, und solche gestalt vorgestellet wie er auf einem Kirsch Ast sietzet und ein Stücklein Zucker aus der Pfote frißt " ("Pour Son Excellence la comtesse Moschinska un oiseau des Indes de taille réelle, d`après nature chez elle [probablement dans le palais de la comtesse à Dresde] et présenté perché sur une branche de cerisier, mangeant un petit morceau de sucre dans sa griffe").
