A cased Knight Bachelor's Badge in silver gilt and red enamel, 2nd version, hallmarked London 1933 and a miniature MBE with purple ribbon (civil), awarded to Sir David Allan Hay. Provenance: by direct descent to the present owner Catalogue Note: Sir David Allan Hay (b. 19 Dec 1878, d. 6 May 1957) aged 78, was a Scottish Chartered Accountant in Glasgow University, he was commissioner and Chairman for special areas in Scotland, Hon Treasurer Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen Families Association in Glasgow and Lord Dean of Guild, Glasgow amongst other associations, according to Who's Who entry, edition 2016 he received an OBE? in 1919, a Knighthood in 1934 and KBE in 1939. He was the father of James Foulis Hay (see above lot)
A 19th century French Marti gilded bronze and glass cased mercury pendulum clock, the enamel dial set with Arabic numerals and hand painted with floral decoration, height 36cm. CONDITION REPORT Fractures to two corners of glass case at back, dial good, movement appears to be in good order, key present.
Samuel Marti French eight day clock garniture in the form of a metal dome topped building, the clock face with enamel dial set with Arabic numerals, a figure of a girl holding grapes to one side and also a twin handled garniture, all on marble base. Supplier G. Gonin Bijoutier, height of clock 45cm, each urn measures 33cm.

Drocourt of Paris; a mid 19th century brass eight day carriage clock, the enamel dial set with Roman numerals and inscribed 'Army and Navy C.S.L.', height 15cm. CONDITION REPORT The top left bottom left and top right corners there is some cracking to the enamel dial and the back door has some chipping to the bottom edge of approx 1.5cm, was working when tested but no guarantee of long term functionality, balance wheel moving freely, small fracture to glass back door. Serial no. 13273 to inside back door.
