CARDS, SOUTH VIETNAMESE AND VIET CONG including a Saigon British Library reader's card, dated October 1971; together with a decorative small engraved map of Vietnam, mounted on a wooden shaped plaque, 18cm high; three U.S. Air Force leather name tabs; a U.S. citation certificate for a heavy truck operator course for Vietnamese nationals, together with eighteen original black and white photographs, postcard size, including images of the South Vietnamese Army and visiting dignitaries, a 1968 dated Viet Cong decorated enamel cup and cover bearing the flag of the VC a copy of the U.S. Underground magazine Avant Garde, issue number 14 - 1971 with an article on children, victims of the Vietnam war, and 'High Time' an article on the drug culture of the time. A collection of decorative china wares to include two 19th Century Mason's style plates painted in the Imari palette, a late 19th / early 20th Century Mason's Patent Ironstone china part dessert service decorated in the Imari palette to include two tazzas, four comports and thirteen plates, together with a collection of German porcelain coffee cups and saucers decorated with flowers, small collection of Westley china coffee cans and saucers and a collection of Royal Albert tea wares decorated with floral sprays and with duck egg blue and gilt banding to include cake plates, serving dishes, jug and bowl, cups, saucers and plates CONDITION REPORTS Masons only. All items have general wear and tear conducive with age and use, including wear to the enamel, guilding etc. Various knife marks, surface scratches etc. There is some discolouration, some do not ring true although unable to see any fractures. A collection of three 19th Century Meissen porcelain figure groups of ladies seated at a table CONDITION REPORTS Meissen lady with posy displays hairline fractures in various places, a chip to the underside base and further chipping all around the base area, her right foot is off and missing. Areas of lace and flowers which have been knocked and chipped. Lady with mirror also displays hairline fractures/cracks all over and has fingers missing , on the hand holding the mirmirr, some loss to the lacework, floral posy, necklace etc. Lady with bowl of fruit is missing her right hand completely and the table is chipped and missing a glass bottle top which has been repaired and broken - bottle top is attached to the underneath. Various losses to fruit lace etc. Hairline fractures/cracks all over. All items have general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include dirt, surface scratching to the enamel and guilding. A collection of 18th and 19th Century Chinese porcelain to include a famille verte circular shallow dish, another similar decorated in iron red and green, a Kaikemon decorated vase, two similar bowls, two further Chinese porcelain fruit bowls, a famille-rose miniature jar and cover, together with a small collection of famille-rose plates and dishes and three Kaikemon style porcelain circular shallow dishes decorated with panels of flowers and bird amongst branches (18) CONDITION REPORTS Famille Verte shallow dish has been broken in two and has been repaired with iron staples. There are various other repairs similarly. Hairline fractures all over, chipping, loss to the enamel etc. Similar dish has been drilled in the centre, hairline fracture to main body, large chip to the outside edge. Kaikemon vase neck has been broken off and re-glued. The two similar bowls have been broken and repaired, one with iron rivets, the other with glue plus additional futhre breakage unrepaired. Further two fruit bowls have also been broken and repaired. Famille Rose vase has several large chunks missing from the rim and has been broken and repaired. All Famille Rose plates and dishes have hairline fractures, star cracks etc. Three Kaikemon style circular siches - two have been broken and repaired, all items have heavy wear an tear to nclude chipping to rims, enamel, sides etc. Wear to the enamel, knife mark etc all in a rough condidion.
