A 19th century gold and enamel oval pendant with a laurel chased border and green and black enamelled flower and ribbon surmount, engraved one side with a motto 'Sublimi Feriam Sidera Vertice' (possibly from the Roman lyric poet Horace and loosely translated as ' I shall strike the stars with the exalted peak of my head'), the other 'Tria Junta in Uno' (Three Joined in One) and various objects possibly for a secret society, most likely Scottish, approx. 48mm x 28mm overall, 9.9gms gross.
