A six-piece silver and powder blue guilloche enamel dressing table set, maker's mark of Adie Brothers Ltd. overstruck by Mappin & Webb and retailed by the latter, Birmingham, 1929, rayed wavy engine-turning and anthemion motifs under the enamel, in fitted box.One clothes brush has tiny shallow surface chip in corner of one end, other one has tiny surface chip right by edge, chips to both hair brushes, big chip to comb mount, hand mirror has tiny chip to end of handle and very shallow chip to top right corner.
A Danish silver and enamel salt cellar of Acanthus pattern by Georg Jensen and designed by Johan Rohde, 1933/44, numbered "180", with emerald green enamel interior, 6.1 cm. across, 4 cm. diameter; also a Danish hammered silver cup by Georg Jensen, Copenhagen, 1923 and with English import marks for London, 1922/3, with double scroll side handles and flared rim, base numbered "373", 5 cm. high, gross weight 87 gm.Both in good condition, no bruises, enamel intact.
