A pair of early 19th century Cantonese plates, decorated with the eight Daoist Immortals and auspicious signs, at the centre of each a poet floating on a log boat, diameter 25cm. Condition Report: One in good condition, the other one has at one time been cleanly broken in two and tastefully restored with areas of enamel over painted so that the join is barely visible. The blue enamel on both has bubbled and small areas are missing.
