A J W Benson 9ct gold cased full hunter pocket watch, 'The Bank', the enamel dial bearing Roman numerals with subsidiary seconds at 6 o'clock, the movement signed Best London Make R2173, with a matching numbered case dated 1908, together with a 9ct rose gold fetter link Albert. Condition Report: Currently working.'The Bank' is the model of the watch.Inner curve is 9ct gold, no inscription.Dial good, winding and runs, case good condition no dents or scratches, back inscribed.Case diameter 48mm. Chain is 9ct and in good condition. 26 grams in fob.

Half hunter glass vignette present but detached and loose and contained within a bag. Surface scratching present throughout. Some small dents and nicks to the case. Hinges working. Cover does not pop open when pressing down on crown but does open. The glass cover with some light scratching. The face has two very small nicks/chips between 'I' and 'II' to the outside of the outer chapter ring. Hallmarks slightly rubbed.

Overall the piece has had a hard life.

A large 20th century Chinese famille verte ginger jar and cover, Jiaqing seal mark, of baluster form, decorated to the exterior with cranes, Xian he, and pine trees amongst a landscape setting with multiple floral and fruiting blossoms to include peony, chrysanthemum and peaches, the cover with yunwen border decoration, the underside with Jiaqing seal mark, 47cm high CONDITION REPORT: Cover- unglazed underside. Stained surface with some grazes/scratching. Some stained enamel crazing and wear to decoration. A small line of stained firing cracks. Some pitting. Body- unglazed footrim. A matched set of four 18th century style Samson porcelain figures of The Continents, late 19th century, modelled as classical female figures with attendant animals, on elaborate scroll bases, polychrome decorated with gilt highlights, two with pseudo gilt crown mark verso, tallest 27cm (some restorations) CONDITION REPORT: Europe (Lion) - left arm completely restored and very yellowed, chipping to the grapes, foliage and petals on the cornucopia, chipping to petals of flowers on base. Underside of base matches America (Aligator) letely different to the other three - see images! America (Aligator) - hand and bow restored and enamel crazing, left thumb restored, some enamel wear to high points and fritting to the base. Underside of base matches Europe. Africa (Horse) - staff in right hand broken and two fingers chipped, horses front left leg restored. horses left ear restored, firing crack to the back of the horse, some re-painting in places, old restorations yellowed, gilt rubbing to high points. Some small firing cracks throughout and enamel rubbing to high points. Asia (Camel) - left arm restored, feather to hat restored and partly gone, small firing cracks throughout and misfiring to the base. All have enamel wearing to the high points and small firing cracks throughout. WE BELIEVE THAT EUROPE & AMERICA ARE A PAIR AND ASIA & AFRICA ARE A PAIR.
