Two late 19th/early 20th century Japanese cloisonne enamel vases. The first of hexagonal baluster shape decorated with polychrome irises, etc, on a dark blue ground, H17.8cm, the second of squat baluster form of purple ginbari cloisonne enamel and decorated with three birds flying behind a white enamel (relief) net, H7.5cm Condition Report: the hexagonal vase has one spot to the under side of rim where there is some enamel losss and two areas to the foot where the enamel has gone too. I am pleased to say the other vase has no faults the factory did pass. there is a minor gap under the rim to the net enamel but not bad.
