A late Victorian yellow metal oval memorial pendant, depicting a picture of a young girl within an enamel border surrounded by seventeen 2.8mm seed pearls, pendant dimensions 53 x 29mm, aperture with hair to the back, engraved EVGH 1883, suspended below an enamel bale attached to a yellow metal curblink chain, with bolt ring clasp, chain length 570mm, width 1.35mm, gross weight 10.3g, pendant stamped CG and tested as 18ct, chain stamped and tested as 9ctCarlo Giuliano was born in 1831, he was a renowned specialist for fine jewellery in the design of the style of Italian renaissance jewellery. Opening a shop in Frith Street London then moving to Piccadilly in 1875. He was a personal jeweller to Queen Victoria.Condition report: Overall condition is very good.Enamel slightly marked to the portrait only.
