A pair of 19th century Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain floor vases, of baluster form, each enamel decorated with cartouches depicting court scenes and relief decorated with gilt kylin and shishi, h.62cm First vase – loss to the rim and a long hairline crack leading off from it, symmetrical loss of a gilt dog of fo on each side of the neck, it is also missing its bottom.Second vase – a number of small chips to the rim, hairline running down the body, star crack to the bottom.The gilt on both is quite rubbed, as is the enamel in some places.Neither are in particularly good order.
