LB ', class B, together with applied plaque with ' No P 1046/2089 PATENT No 220123 ', dating the scales to 1879, this sitting above a glazed weighing window, raised on mahogany board with adjustable metal supports, 18in (45.8cm.) wide and standing 17¾in. (45.2cm.) high, working. * Condition: The scales with very good decals/transfers,working condition, slight wear to enamel etc, very good.
A Victorian blue glass horn shaped scent bottle, enamel painted with floral ring and having brass mounts, 2 1/8in. (5.4cm.) long, together with a flat moon flask scent with pierced brass mounts depicting birds; ornate brass egg thimble case having flower head decoration. (3) * Condition: The scent bottles without stoppers, otherwise pieces appear good.
A Edward VIII cut glass and silver guilloche enamel powder jar, Barker Brothers Silver Ltd, Birmingham, 1936, the pull off silver cover with inset shaped gold guilloche enamel decoration, 4¼in. (10.8cm.) diameter, together with a vintage rectangular powder compact. (2) * Condition: The enamel work with tiny flea-bite nibbles to edges, hardly noticeable, nothing else to note.
An Austrian silver and enamel cigarette case, mark of Georg Adam Scheid, Vienna, circa 1880, with additional German control mark, of rectangular rounded form, the hinged lid depicting two hunting hounds chasing a rabbit, the underside with ornate inscribed initials, 3 3/8in. (8.6cm.) long, weight 4.2 tr.oz. * Condition: Enamel and silver with light surface scratches, flea-bite nibbles throughout, corners with shallow dents, overall good.
An Art Deco period silver and guilloche enamel strut clock, Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1923, the curved rectangular plate in lilac guilloche enamel with faux-fluted black enamel and silver borders with foliate rosettes to the angles, hinged easel back, the gilt circular dial signed '8 Day Swiss Made', with lumed Arabic numerals and pierced blued steel hands, 4 3/8in. (11.1cm.) high. *Condition: Marks clear. Main silver panel good. Top of both sides of strut slightly bent. Enamel in fine condition. Minor losses from black lined enamel to lower right corner. Gilt dial good - luming on numerals dulled. Minor wear to black shading around lettering. Movement does not wind - will need attention.
A cased set of six Norwegian silver and enamel demitasse spoons, by Gustav Hellstrom, the shaped enamel handles and reverse of bowls in six colours, having intricate floral decoration, 3 6/8in. (9.6cm.) long, gross weight 2.2 tr.oz. * Condition: The lighter blue spoon with dark/stained mark to terminal, otherwise nothing to note.

(14cm.) long, gross weight 7.5 tr.oz. * Condition: Looking very closely a few tiny minute enamel losses, very eye catching set.

(12.8cm.); together with a blue glass and gilded perfume bottle; and a blue glass and enamel decorated trinket box with brass mounts. (4) * Condition: The scents and perfume with gilt loss, no chips or cracks found.

A French gilt brass carriage clock by Duverdry & Bloquel, c.1900, with corniche case, shaped handle, Roman white enamel dial and single train movement signed with a Lion trademark, 4¼in. (10.8cm.) high plus handle, with restored maroon morocco case with key. * Condition: Winds and runs. Tarnish to top and base of case. Otherwise good with no faults. Case in good condition, with just minor wear but it was restored with new leather in 1952 (label stating this to inside).
A 19th century Dutch Delft mantel clock, the top of architectural form with fleur-de-lys surmount, over a fireplace and mantel beneath, the 4in. Roman enamel dial to a twin train French movement by P. Japy & Cie, also marked for Eugene Farcot, with outside countwheel strike and sunburst pendulum, striking the hours and half hours on a bell, 15¾in. (40cm.) high. * Condition: Winds, runs and strikes correctly. Dial good. Finial on top of both andirons in fireplace have been off and glued back. Large hairline glaze crack to back of case. Some small glaze flakes to edges and line of wear to glaze at edge just to right side of dial door.
A 19th century boulle twin train mantel clock, the 'P. Japy et Cie' movement, no. '1271 4 6', striking the hours and half hours on a gong, the 3¾in. gilt dial with Roman cartouche enamel numerals and cast floral decoration, within a balloon shaped case with foliate and rocaille mounts and conforming surmount, 15in. (38cm.) high, with key. * Condition: Winds and runs. Strikes correctly. Very original condition - no evidence of restoration. Case is quite dirty and dusty. Some surface rust to gong. Hammer is bent slightly to prevent contact with the gong. Overall wear and tarnishing to gilt metal mounts. Very minor lifting to brass boulle inlay in a couple of places. No losses or repairs.
A French gilt brass Petite Sonerie carriage clock, late 19th / early 20th century, the twin train movement striking the hours and quarters on two gongs, the back plate impressed B in a circle (possibly Jules Brunelot), in a corniche case, the enamel dial marked 'Howard James - To the Queen - Paris - Patent', 5¾in. (14.6cm.) high plus handle, no key. * Condition: Winds and runs. Strikes correctly with Petite Sonnerie function correctly operating. Slight wear to lettering on dial. Overall very good condition. No key.

Marti & Cie, with white Roman enamel chapter ring and outside Brocot escapement, the eight day twin train movement signed 'J.J.S' and with the J. Marti & Cie roundel, numbered 10627 5.7', striking the hours and half hours on a gong, with mercury pendulum, 11 7/8in. (30cm.) high.

A good Chinese porcelain Mandarin punch bowl, Qianlong period (1736-1795), painted with figures in lakeside gardens, divided by mirror shaped panels painted with birds in branches, on a diaper ground, the short foot with gilt trefoil pendant border, the interior with conforming diaper and pendant border and central floral spray, 11 3/8in. (29.8cm.) diameter, hairline cracks. * Condition: Four old hairline cracks from rim. Some wear to enamel to inside of bowl. Minor gilt wear and enamel scratches to exterior.
Four pieces of Chinese export porcelain, late 18th century, painted in the famille rose palette with flowers issuing from kakiemon blue rockwork, three with brown line rims, comprising a soup bowl, a plate, a saucer dish and a saucer with two gilt painted ducks, the bowl 9 1/8in. (23.2cm.) diameter. (4) * Condition: - Soup bowl: Some enamel wear. Otherwise good. - Plate: Small firing crack to rim. Otherwise good. - Saucer dish: Several minute glaze frits to rim. Otherwise good. - Saucer: Hairline to rim.
A Chinese stoneware hexagonal baluster vase, probably 19th / early 20th century, the powder blue glazed vase extensively enamelled in an archaic style with Zhuanshu symbols and beasts on turquoise and pink cloud panels, within primrose yellow diaper and keywork borders, 12in. (30.5cm.) high, lacks handles. * Condition: Handles are broken off and missing - enamel loss whenre these were originally attached. Two tiny glaze chips beneath rim (which have been touched-in with blue paint). No other faults.
A Chinese porcelain famille rose verte bowl, early 20th century, printed four character mark to base and wax seal, further prick engraved character mark just above foot, the exterior enamelled with a floral tendril, the interior with a foliate roundel, on a circular foot, 6 3/8in. (16.2cm.) diameter; together with a Chinese porcelain leaf shaped dish, early 20th century, with channelled rim, painted with a bird in a blossom tree and calligraphic inscription, 10 3/8in. (26.3cm.) long. (2) * Condition: - Bowl: Wear to enamel to interior. Small shallow chip to rim. Several chips to inside of footrim. Some wear to printed mark to base. - Dish: Chip to one corner and glaze chipping around the rim in places. Some rubbing to painted decoration. Gilt wear to rim.
A Victorian slate mantel clock. With enamel dial having visible anchor escapement. With gilt metal lion mask handles and bracket feet. Housing a French 8 day cylinder movement striking on a bell stamped for Samuel Marti, 32cm high. Sold with key and pendulum. Running. Case in good order with some expected nibbles to the slate.

A Victorian yellow metal, rose cut diamond, enamel and split pearl set oval locket, 43mm excluding the bale, gross weight 37 grams, with original fitted box.CONDITION: Glazed interior. This a tiny nick on two of the diamonds and there is some loss/damage to the enamel to top right corner. Overall condition is otherwise good. Box has a couple of minor scuffs, otherwise good condition.
