An Edwardian clear cut scent bottle of cylindrical section with a hobnail pattern rising to a silver hallmarked collar and conforming ball stopper, the collar hallmarked Birmingham 1906, together with a similar swept body example with foliate chased silver collar, a silver and enamel capped example and a plain silver screw top example, (4).
An early 20th c. hallmarked silver dressing table set, comprising mirror, two hairbrushes and two clothes brushes, the backs finished in 'feathered' lemon yellow enamel, contained in orig. plush-lined leatherette presentation case bearing the name of Crouch of Cardiff, overall dimensions approx. 11 x 15 in (28 x 38 cm.). This dressing table set was, according to Lloyd Williams's wife, for Christmas. Lloyd Williams was for many years Ivor Novello's secretary. (1)
