Silver Cross of the Virtuti Militari from the 19th century, originating from the workshop of Paweł Siennicki. This piece was most likely made during the Kingdom of Poland, specifically during the November Uprising of 1830–1831. The cross underwent conservation, probably in the 19th century, which included the replacement of the obverse and reverse medallions, the application of secondary enamel or lacquer on the arms, and the replacement of the suspension ring. The order takes the form of a silver cross, with a white enamel (or lacquered) eagle in a crown with outstretched wings on the obverse, surrounded by the inscription "Virtuti Militari" on the black arms of the cross. The reverse bears the engraved letters "SARP" (Stanislaus Augustus Rex Poloniae), referring to King Stanisław Augustus Poniatowski, as well as a central medallion with the Lithuanian coat of arms – the Lithuanian Pahonia. The reverse arms are inscribed with the year "1792", marking the establishment of the order.A unique piece with high historical and collector’s value, representing an important testament to Polish military and national traditions.
