Great Eastern Railway 12 inch teak cased fusee railway clock manufactured for the Great Eastern Railway circa 1870–1880. The quality chain driven English fusee movement in fully overhauled condition has rectangular plates, which are held together by turned pillars. The Back plate has GER stamped in as was sometimes the practice. The teak case is in original condition with a one piece turned surround and a cast brass bezel. There is evidence of baize being applied under the dial as was common practice by the GER, the ivorine number plate 4062 is fixed to the inside of the box and the back of the box is lightly branded GER twice. The enamel painted iron dial with roman numerals bearing the legend B.R.(E) 4062 and this would have been re written post 1948 by the LNER clock work shops at Doncaster. The clock also retains its original Brass Heart shaped hands. The LNER clock records show that this clock was last located at Colchester St Botolph’s Station Goods Office. In good working condition complete with keys and a copy of the clock record.

BR(M) FF enamel railway station direction sign KENTISH TOWN WEST STATION with British Railways totem and right facing arrow, from the former London & North Western and North London Railway Joint station between Kentish Town Junction and Willesden Junction which closed in 1971 due to a fire and was reopened a decade later. In very good condition with minor edge chipping, measures 28in x 13in. Probably the only named piece of British Railways enamel from this station.
BR(S) enamel railway station entrance sign BRITISH RAILWAYS HENFIELD with two totems either end. From the former London Brighton & South Coast Railway station between Shoreham and Horsham, often referred to as the Steyning Line which closed in 1966. Measures 52.5in x 11.75in and is in very good condition with a few minor chips.
London Transport enamel bus stop sign with BUS STOP in roundel and RED ARROW underneath. Double sided both sides in excellent condition, measures 18in x 21in. Red Arrow was a brand name given to several former London bus limited stop routes used as high frequency commuter services in central London.

KENT & EAST SUSSEX RAILWAY PUBLIC WARNING NOTICE NOT TO TRESPASS. 9 Lines of text and issued in October 1920 by H.F Stephens Managing Director. In very good condition with minor edge chipping and 3 small restored edge chips. An exceptionally rare notice from this small Colonel Stephens railway. Measures 20in x 10in.
BR(E) FF enamel Railway Station running in board HADLEY WOOD from teh former Great Northern Railway Station between New Barnet and Hatfield. Double sided both sides in very good condition with minor face chips, measures 114in x 20in. A rare chance to obtain a running in board with both sides.
Eastern Union Railway 14 inch Mahogany cased fusee railway clock manufactured and supplied to the EUR in 1855 by Ebenezer Beaven of Tottenham London. The quality chain driven English fusee movement in good condition has rectangular plates, which are held together by turned pillars. The mahogany case is in original condition with ornate decoration and a cast brass bezel and inscribed in ink on the inside of the case is E.BEAVEN EUR 6/55. The enamel painted iron dial is in original condition with roman numerals bearing the legend LNER and GER ivorine clock numberplate 3065 and also visible as ghosted writing G.E.R. The LNER clock records show that this clock was in use at Needham Station booking office. In good working condition complete with key and a copy of the clock record. A truly historic timepiece, Beaven became one the main suppliers of clocks to the Great Eastern Railway and Ebenezer's son was later to take charge of the Great Eastern Railways clock workshops at Stratford.
North British Railway enamel doorplate SECOND CLASS REFRESHMENT CABIN. From one of the North British railway owned ex Galloway Saloon Steam Packet Companies ships. In very good condition with one minor face chip and edge chipping, measures 20in x 7in. A copy of a hand written receipt accompanies the lot confirming its provenance.
