Deutsches Reich 1933-1945 - Seltenes Deutsches Kreuz in Gold, schwere Ausführung, Hersteller Zimmermann (so genannter 11-Uhr-Fehler deutlich erkennbar). Insgesamt ca. 82,72 g rau, revers Ritzungen "K H Rossbach". An Schraubscheibe lettischer Hersteller A/S A. RATFELDERS KALKUIELA 11, RIGA. Lapel heavily worked, pin removed, 4 hollow rivets but still visible. A back plate with screw plate was mounted from a wartime Latvian badge. The swastika has slight play and the paper test shows that the swastika is not firmly soldered or even glued. Corresponding wear and scratch marks on the enamel, partially slightly damaged. This specimen is probably the piece of the Eastern Front fighter Karl Heinz Roßbach, which can be proven by the scoring reverse. Roßbach received an early German Cross in gold award in 1942, which fits the heavy Zimmermann design. As an Eastern Front fighter, the reverse reworking with spare parts of a Latvian badge also fits. Rossbach, a Thuringian, fell in 1944. Total approx. 82.72 g full weight, reverse incised "K H Rossbach". On screw plate Latvian maker A/S A. RATFELDERS KALKUIELA 11, RIGA. According to the consignor, Rossbach's paper estate with certificate to the German Cross in gold probably exists. Signs of age and wear, rubbed, reverse reworked. Best view
DDR - Vaterländischer Verdienstorden in Silber, Erste Form, verliehen 1981. März 1992 in Berlin.| GDR - Fatherland Order of Merit in Silver, First Form, awarded in 1981. The Fatherland Order of Merit has a silver content of about 900/1000. In original case. Signs of age such as toning and the red enamel painting on the medal is patchy. Enclosed in the original hardcover envelope is the award certificate with original signature of President Wilhelm Pieck, and his wax stamp in red. This decoration was awarded to Heinz Abraham. Heinz Abraham was born on June 30, 1911 in Allenstein, East Prussia, and was a Jewish-German anti-fascist, historian and diplomat. During his emigration in the USSR, he worked, among other things, as an architect and construction manager in housing construction and industry, especially at the Soviet state project planning office Gorstroiprojekt. In the GDR, he took on the role of university lecturer in the history and politics of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) at the "Karl Marx" Party College of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED).
