Collection of 26 Derby coffee cans, most dated 1800 to 1815 with Derby red crown, cross swords and “D” mark to base, three later Bloor Derby (1825-1848) and one earlier (1782-1800) in a yellow ground with dark grey foliate design, blue and gilt banding top and bottom with white enamel spots. (One cup has broken handle). This lot contains 26 pieces and we would therefore advise inspection in person. There are 3 with obvious chip (3mm-6mm) to rim/base rim, 1 with firing crack, 1 handle off, approx 7 with fritting and crazing, and where there is gilding this is generally worn as is consistent with the age. Otherwise condition is good with no major faults found.
