Report by RB From a local private client, who has moved into a home. The clock: the case is generally in good condition, but is a little bent/warped in parts, but this does not really seem to have effected the enamel decoration. The top (larger) finial doesn't perfectly match the other four, the feet are a little bent, and there is one screw missing from the back of the case (although it would appear to have been missing for sometime due to the brasso build up in the hole), the movement is stamped MADE IN FRANCE, 2900 3, and indistinctly stamped ILLE D'ARGENT (?). The candlesticks: both slightly misshapen and a little loose, with one sconce rim quite bent, but again the enamel seems to have survived reasonably well from this damage. Overall attractive, but not the highest quality champleve enamel.
