An extremely fine Japanese cloisonne censer, Meiji period, with pierced lid, two handled on tripod feet, with intricate enamel decoration covering the entire censor, with Egret and Peacock detail, height 14cm. In very good condition, some pitting evident through loupe, probably from manufacture. From private collection same family for at least 100 years.
A pair of Chinese porcelain vases, with enamel decoration of kite flyers, 4 character marks under base, height 25cm.Lamp conversion via neck of vase - no drilled holes, enamels are rubbed on both vases. Small chips to base rim of one vase but no other damage. The other vase has been broken and with extensive damage to neck.
A pair of 19th century Chinese porcelain hexagonal barrel garden seats, with pierced panels, enamel and gilt decoration, painted character marks to base, height 47cm.One seat has exstensive breaks and stapled repairs, the other has a cracked side section running over three of the six panels. Both are in a solid stable condition.
A fine Meiji period Japanese cloisonne baluster vase, dark blue body with Japanese garden decoration, signed to base, height 31cm. Good condition, visible scratch to blue enamel on one side, some additional light surface scratches, some rubbing visible to silver otherwise excellent condition. From private collection same family for at least 100 years.
A pair of Japanese Meiji period cloisonne vases, dark blue enamel bodies with eagles in Acer trees, height 26cm. Vase 1 - interior plate in neck is missing, dull area under neck with loss of lacquer coating. 3cm diameter area of possible restoration to top right of Acer tree, some evidence of overpainting, surface scratches and cracks to enamel. Vase 2 - Light surface scratches, loss of blue enamel lacquer coat to bottom right of tree roots . From private collection same family for at least 100 years.
