An early 20th century Canadian open faced 'Silveroid' pocket watch retailed by The T. Eaton Co. Toronto, the white enamel dial with outer red seconds, black Roman numerals, spade hands, and subsidiary seconds dial, the lever set 17 jewel adjusted lever movement no. 110029, lever set, the screw bezel case 56mm diameter, together with an Elgin example, and an empty screw bezel Silveroid case (3) MOVEMENT: not functioning at time of cataloguing, lever to set missing, lodged to set not to wind, centre wheel hole jewel broken. Second watch missing winding crown. CASE: copper bleed to case back, crystal scuffed to centre. Elgin with some deep scratches, glass scuffed. DIALS: no apparent issues to the first, missing minute hand. Elgin missing all hands and with hairline fracture.

Donaldson, 121 Pall Mall, London, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, missing hands, the bar cylinder movement signed 'Stauffer Genève', the case 41mm diameter, together with a Swiss silver open faced pocket watch with lever escapement, and a Swiss silver heart-shaped cylinder fob (3) MOVEMENT: bar cylinder movement with three arm domed gold balance, over-sprung, fully jewelled balance, functioning at time of cataloguing, the second in poor condition, the third functioning at time of cataloguing CASE: four piece, grubby but good, missing crystal. The second, an Omega case, three bear mark with '.935' presentation engraved on the cuvette, the third missing front cover. DIAL: fractures to enamel across the RH side of the dial, second watch is with two crescent shaped fractures at the edge of the dial, third with a fracture vertically across dial
A late Victorian silver open faced pocket watch by Frederick James Clerke, 1 Royal Exchange, no 7962, the signed white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands, and subsidiary seconds dial, three quarter plate English lever movement, the case hallmarked London 1889, engraved on the reverse with crest (possibly for Chalmers, Sir Mackenzie Dalzell), 46mm diameter MOVEMENT: keyless wound, jewelled fourth, escape wheel and pallet, diamond endstone, bimetallic split balance, blued steel spring, regulator index on the balance cock, signed top plate. Movement not functioning, balance staff loose. CASE: fully hallmarked, gold thumb piece, without issue. DIAL: missing seconds hand
