Features a map of the railways in the lower half of England and Ireland with the new sea routes shown from Fishguard to Rosslare, Waterford and Queenstown. Manufactured by Chromo, Wolverhampton and measures 50" x 36" (127cm x 92cm). Generally in very good, ex-use condition with small areas of restoration around the screw-holes. [1]

British Railways (Midland Region) enamel STATION TOTEM SIGN from Woodford Halse on the former Great Central Railway main line, closed in 1966. A standard-size (36" - 91cm), fully-flanged totem. Noted just 5 times at auction before. In very good, ex-use condition with just one small blemish to the face. The flanges have some surface corrosion. [1]
London Underground 1938-Tube Stock enamel CAB DESTINATION PLATE for Alexandra Palace / Moorgate on the Northern Line. The Alexandra Palace branch of the Northern City Line was planned under the 1930s 'Northern Heights' programme. After the War, the planned extension did not proceed and Tube trains never ran to the Palace. A double-sided plate with brass ends. In very good condition. [1]
Two pairs of 1930s/40s London Underground enamel 'HALF-MOONS' from platform bullseye signs. Both have the pre-WW2 black lining out. Each piece measures 38.75" x 14.5" (98.5cm x 37cm) at maximum. Both pairs are in good, ex-use condition with small marks, blemishes and light weathering. [2 pairs]
c1908 London Underground 'Bar & Circle' enamel PLATFORM SIGN' from Holloway Road on the then Great Northern, Piccadilly & Brompton Railway, today's Piccadilly Line. It features the original solid red disc and blue bar of the Underground's first unified identity, later to become the bullseye and then the roundel. Holloway Road, a Leslie Green-designed, Grade II-listed station, is the closest to Arsenal Football Club. A 2-part sign with a replacement frame for the bar. Measures 55" (140cm) across x 51" (130cm) high. Small blemishes but overall in very good, ex-use condition. [1]
1940s/50s London Transport enamel BUS STOP FLAG (compulsory). Double-sided with two enamel plates inside a bronze frame and a most unusual E6 type with spaces for 6 e-plates on each side (runners are only fitted to one side). Measures 18" x 26" (46cm x 66cm). A very good example with just minor blemishes to the enamel. [1]
London Underground Q-Stock enamel DESTINATION PLATE for Charing Cross / Hammersmith on the District Line. A little longer than the standard cab versions and designed to be used on the outside of the train. Double-sided with brass ends into which are stamped the abbreviated names for easy location in the storage rack. An unusual variant not seen by us at auction before. In very good, ex-use condition with just small blemishes. [1]
London Underground enamel PLATFORM ROUNDEL SIGN from Earl's Court Station on the District and Piccadilly Lines. This is the smaller-size sign, from the track-side, measuring 24" x 20" (61cm x 51cm). A complete sign comprising bar, 2 half-circles and brass frame. In excellent, ex-use condition with only the tiniest of blemishes. Mounted on board for display. [1 sign in 4 parts]
Pair of London Transport 1950s/60s single-sided enamel BUS STOP FLAGS. These are the less-common, slightly smaller versions designed either for wall-fixing or to be screwed over normal-size, framed flags or 'Keston' shelter plates when the denomination of a stop required changing. They measure 15.75" x 14" (40cm x 36cm) and are in excellent, ex-use condition with just minor blemishes in places. [2]
London Transport 'DOLLY' BUS STOP (Request), double-sided and comprising the complete head unit of two enamel plates in the original steel frame. 'Dolly' stops, mounted on a pole with a concrete base, were used in temporary situations such as where a fixed stop had been damaged or a route temporarily diverted. A very good example with just a small blemish on each side, duly touched in. [1]
Selection (4) of Southend & District Joint Services and Eastern National TIMETABLE PANEL HEADER PLATES. Three are alloy, c1930s-40s, in different colour schemes and are double-sided with Eastern National on the reverses. The other is enamel, c1950/60ss, single-sided. They measure 11" x 3" (29cm x 8cm) and are in generally very good, ex-use condition with small blemishes. [4]
c1906 London bus conductor's double-sided enamel LICENCE BADGE no 18,630. Designed to hang from the lapel on a leather strap, the strap is no longer present. Very few of these badges survived as, after withdrawal, they were sent to landfill and/or dumped in the Thames. In good, ex-use condition with small edge-losses and other wear. [1]
Pair of London Transport bus enamel RADIATOR BADGES, the first as fitted to the 84-strong 1953 GS class of Guy Special green single-deckers (and possibly also to some of the handful of RTLs painted green) and the second as fitted to the Leyland versions of London's famous RT bus family - the RTLs and RTWs. Both are in excellent condition. [2]

Measures 18" x 31" (46cm x 79cm). A very reasonable example, good in all respects other than some enamel losses and corrosion at the foot of the top part on both sides (which would be hidden when e-plates are fitted). 1930s London Transport bus stop timetable panel enamel HEADER PLATE. This is the type introduced around 1934/5 and which featured different colours for the various road services, in this case a green background for Country Area buses. A most uncommon survivor. Measures 8.75" x 2.75" (22cm x 5.5cm) and is in excellent condition. [1]
