A George IV garnet, seed pearl and enamel ring together with another 19th century gemset ring, the first with a rectangular cut garnet in a black enamel and seed pearl double border and closed back setting, to trifurcated foliate carved and part enamelled shoulders with carved scallop shell bases and reeded shank, London hallmarks for 18ct gold, 1830, including the head of George IV, ring size T, with later inscription 'Archie 1908'; together with a panel ring set perhaps as flowerheads with oval and round cut garnets, seed pearls and two emerald highlights, in an ornate scrolling setting and closed back to bright cut shoulders and shank, size L½, partial hallmarks for 15ct gold, probably Birmingham 1874 (2)

PH VOGEL & CO (probably); A George V hallmarked silver oval box with enamelled hinged lid painted with lake landscape with boat and cottage, with guilloche enamel decorated sides and engine turned decorated base, London import mark for 1926, 8 x 4.5cm, approx 2.3ozt. CONDITION REPORT: Generally in good condition apart from a bruise to the enamel to upper right part of the lid, minor surface wear and tarnish commensurate with age and usage, resides of cleaning products to the inside, otherwise appears intact, hand painted.
A quantity of hallmarked silver items comprising a pair of Art Nouveau small open salts, Joseph Gloster, Birmingham 1913, a sterling silver small pepper and a beaded napkin ring, both with import marks for Gorham Manufacturing Co, Birmingham 1905, a lidded mustard pot with integral line and associated silver salt spoon, Joseph Gloster, Birmingham, possibly 1914 (marks rubbed), and a loaded silver candlestick of waisted form, James Deakin & Sons, probably Chester 1911 (marks rubbed), weighable silver approx 3ozt, also a plated salt and pepper bearing enamel crest for SS Orcades Mediterranean Cruise 1953, and a plated open salt.
MARIUS HAMMER; a Norwegian 930 standard silver and enamel brooch of a stylised butterfly with green body and white lavender and blue wings, 5.5cm (slightly af). CONDITION REPORT: There is slight damage to the enamel in one small place on the abdomen slightly where the wings meet the thorax, two of the dots on the wings have wear to the enamel.In the opinion of our valuer the metal is heavily tarnished and needs a clean, but not corroded, the pin is very loose.
A small group of 19th century carved ivory and bone items comprising a French trinket box with painted miniature of a society lady to top, a parasol handle profusely carved with floral and fauna, a cheroot holder with enamelled detail and two further carvings (5). CONDITION REPORT: Miniature has some discolouration. Parasol handle has some chips and losses. Enamel on cheroot holder is ok. General wear throughout.
A group of nine ceramic teapots of varied size and form to include a circular Sadler example in the style of Clarice Cliff, unmarked square example with gilt and enamel floral decoration and with matching stand, an unmarked globular example with transferred tiger stripe style decoration and mottos to either side (9).
A vintage enamel Daily Telegraph advertising sign with blue lettering on a white ground and priced 1d, 103 x 15cm. CONDITION REPORT: Overall in remarkably good condition for its age, There is one small blemish near the R of Telegraph but apart from that, the normal damage around the areas where it was mounted to a wall, very light chipping to the edges.
A late Victorian 18ct yellow gold crown wind full hunter pocket watch, the two-piece white enamel dial set with Roman numerals and inscribed 'Centre Seconds Chronograph', the case hallmarked for Chester 1890, movement no.1012, diameter excluding winding crown 5cm. CONDITION REPORT: SOme surface scratches to the case, and outer front section is slightly loose. A fine 3mm hairline crack to the edge of the dial. Scratches where people have tried to open the inner case. Ticks when wound, but this is no gurantee that the watch is in working order.
ROLEX; a 9ct yellow gold mid-20th century lady's wristwatch, the circular white enamel dial set with Roman numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial and inscribed 'Rolex Swiss made', the movement with fifteen jewels, diameter 2.5cm on a gold plated expanding bracelet and a 9ct rose gold lady's wristwatch, the white dial set with Roman numerals with red XII, diameter 2.5cm on a 9ct gold expanding bracelet (2).
A French brass and Sèvres style porcelain panel decorated eight day mantel clock, the circular cherub decorated dial set with Roman hour markers above a panel depicting a courting couple in a garden, on bracket feet, movement stamped D.G & Co 285, Paris, 724, also with mark of Vincenti Cie, 1855, height 36cm. CONDITION REPORT: Concentrated areas of loss and discolouration to painted and gilt decoration around twin keyholes to dial, further spotting and areas of further spotting and areas of discolouration to painted panels but no major scratches or losses visible, some losses to the enamel work front and side panels, spotting/areas of discolouration and minor pitting to front panel throughout with pronounced visibility against turquoise glaze, rubbing to gilt detail throughout, mechanism has not been tested, loss/abrasion to edges of left hand panel, viewing recommended if possible, general wear to metal mounts.
ROBERT FLETCHER OF CHESTER; a George III oak and mahogany crossbanded, conch shell inlaid longcase clock, the broken swan neck pediment above painted enamel dial set with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, inscribed with maker's name, with single shaped door on plinth base with ogee bracket feet, height 220cm.Maker listed active 1784-1820. CONDITION REPORT: Fretwork pediment damaged. Dial repainted, movement, dial and case are associated. Heavy wear to one of the fluted columns, general surface wear to the case.
A pair of large 19th century Chinese porcelain Famille Rose opposing baluster vases painted in enamels with two opposing panels, one depicting three warriors with their master, the other depicting birds perched on blossoming chrysanthemum and prunus branches, within decorative borders of scrolls and auspicious objects, the panels alternating with image of phoenix amongst blossoming peonies, with similarly decorated flared necks, bearing overglaze iron red six character mark to bases, height 77cm (one af). CONDITION REPORT: Both vases with minor general surface wear and dirt, areas of losses to the thicker layers of the enamel (mainly firing imperfections such as air bubbles), rubbing to the gilding on the rim. Both with scratches to the inside of the neck. One vase has been bruised to the lower part causing a major star hairline with staining to both interior and exterior, and with major crack to the flared rim which has been crudely reglued.
A pair of 20th century Japanese gimbari and cloisonné baluster vases decorated with blossoms on a red ground, height 22cm. CONDITION REPORT: Nibbles to enamel upper band, particularly where it meets metal rim, similar to foot rims, one with a number of cracks to body, both with general scratches, pitting etc.
BILSTON & BATTERSEA ENAMELS; an enamel on copper snuff box depicting a 1904 Reo 1-cylinder run about from the James C. Leake collection on the oval form lid. In the correct blue padded original box, still retains original foldout leaflet. The actual car was driven in the London to Brighton run five times by Mr Leake.
