c1960s London Transport enamel DIRECTION SIGN 'Travel Enquiries'. A double-sided, flanged sign complete with original mounting bracket. Likely to have been attached to a lamp-post near one of LT's Travel Information kiosks such as Victoria, Piccadilly Circus, 55 Broadway. Measures 20" x 10.5" (51cm x 27cm) and in very good, ex-use condition with a couple of chips at the edge on one side and other small blemishes. [1]

1960s London Underground enamel PLATFORM DIAGRAM from Oxford Circus station for the northbound Bakerloo Line. Measures 42" x 60" (107cm x 153cm) and is in very good, ex-use condition. [1]
1950s/60s London Transport enamel BUS & COACH STOP FLAG (Request), an E3 version with space for 3 e-plates on both sides. A traditional bullseye 'boat' flag, (two-sided, hollow) measuring 18" x 20.5" (46cm x 52cm). A very good example with only minor blemishes, the runners were removed by LT upon disposal. [1]
British Railways (Western Region) enamel TOTEM SIGN from Didcot station on the Paddington to South Wales route, now named Didcot Parkway and also the access point to the Didcot Railway Centre. A fully-flanged example, standard size (36" or 92cm), in excellent, ex-use condition with very good colour and shine and only the tiniest of blemishes. [1]

1950s/60s London Transport enamel BUS STOP SIGN 'Berkhamsted' from a 'Keston' wooden bus shelter in that town in Hertfordshire. London Transport coach stop enamel E-PLATE for Green Line route 713A lettered Mon-Fri and destinated Victoria. This amazing survivor dates from the November 1964 to April 1965 period (6 months!) when one Monday to Friday peak hour journey on the 713 from Luton was diverted via Shenley, terminating short at Victoria and numbered 713A. The plate was probably posted on the Luton to Borehamwood section. After April 1965, this journey reverted to the plain 713 number. In very good, ex-use condition. [1]
c1950s British Railways (Eastern Region) enamel HEADER PLATE 'LONDON TRANSPORT' thought to be from one of the stations on the London, Tilbury & Southend line also used by District and Hammersmith & City Line Underground trains. A most unusual item and interesting to see 'London Transport' in Gill Sans lettering rather than Johnston. Measures 53" x 6" (135cm x 15cm) and is in ex-use condition with some small enamel losses, mostly at/near the edges. [1]
British Railways (Southern Region) enamel RUNNING-IN BOARD from South Merton station on the former SR Sutton Loop line now served by Thameslink trains. Measures 104" x 16" (264cm x 41cm) and is in generally good, ex-use condition with a number of small blemishes that have been touched in. [1]

London Transport enamel-on-brass (or possibly bronze) SIGN 'Head Office, 55 Broadway, Westminster SW1'. Original location unknown but this version is unusual and the high-quality manufacture suggests it could have been at 55 Broadway itself. Measures 21" x 10" (53cm x 25cm) and is in very good, ex-use condition, the small blemishes appear worse in the picture than to the naked eye. [1]
London Transport enamel BUS & RED ARROW STOP FLAG. These were used from the late 1960s until the early 1970s after which the Red Arrow services used standard bus stops. 1930s/40s London Transport enamel BUS STOP FLAG, the 'request' version. Double-sided with two enamel plates inside a bronze frame. The wide spacing of the letters in 'request' suggest to us that this is probably an early, pre-war example. Measures 18" x 16" (46cm x 40cm). An excellent example in very good, ex-use condition with only minor blemishes. Retains its original fixing rods. [1]
London Transport/London Country coach stop enamel E-PLATE for Green Line route 716 Sunday. This plate would date from October 1972 when the 716 was re-routed to double-run via Lister Hospital in Stevenage on Sundays and would have been located on that section. In excellent, ex-use condition. [1]

A traditional bullseye 'boat' flag, (two-sided, hollow) measuring 18" x 20.5" (46cm x 52cm). Some runners are missing but otherwise a good example overall with some small blemishes, needs a thorough clean. [1]
A pair of Chinese Canton Cache Pots or Planters with stands, late Qing dynasty, probably mid to late 19th century, each decorated in colours with figures, of octagonal tapered form with conforming stands, 16cm high (on stand) (4)Condition reportBoth the main pots are quite thickly potted, the rim flares to give a solid edge which was gilded. The gilding on this rim and on the matching base has worn from handling as would be expected. The enamels are generally in good condition on all four pieces, however some areas have been lost, most notable where enamel has come away on a ladies dress, this is located where the pot slots into the base and is likely worn from movement at the junction. (See image) Sadly one of the two large pots has been cracked (visible in additional images. This crack extends from top to base edge on both sides, however it appears the piece was not broken apart as I could find no crack across the base. Both pots are very dirty, having been for many years contained plants at a large Country House near Biggar, Scotland. With a good clean they will look very attractive on any mantel or table. The crack is well concealed by the polychrome enamel decoration. I could find no reign marks or other identifications on any of the four pieces.
