A GEORGE V SILVER AND PIQUE WORK MINIATURE CARRIAGE CLOCK, the silver hallmarked for William Comyns & Sons Ltd, London 1912, of characteristic form, the top and sides inset with tortoiseshell panels, the front with pique work enclosing a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, raised on bun feet, with key wind movement (in working order), with key. Height excluding handle 7cmThe dial cracked. Winds and runs but we can't warrant this. The case in good condition. The hallmarks clear and well-struck.

Chain stamped 9C. In fitted case. Total length 50cm. Weight 34.9gms.

A STRIKING DIAMOND, EMERALD AND JADE SET 18ct GOLD AND ENAMEL LADY'S COMPACT IN THE ART DECO TASTE, the gold with London import marks for 1929, of rectangular form, the hinged cover opening between twin bands of diamond points and set with a domed jade panel between twin bands of three baguette cut diamonds, further set with two bands of calibre emeralds flanked by lines of round brilliant-cut diamonds, all against a ground of black enamel, stamped marks. 8cm by 4.75cm, 136 gramsA few very minor flea bites to the enamel. The stones are present and vibrant. The marks are clear and well-struck. In generally very good condition commensurate with age and use.
