A Crimea group of four medals to Troop Sergeant Major William J Keyte comprising Crimea 1854-56 with three clasps Balaklava, Inkermann, Sebastopol (naming indistinct Sergt W J Keyte 1st Rl Dn), Army Meritorious Service Medal, V.R (Tp Sgt Maj W J Keyte Late 1/Dragoons) Turkish Crimea 1855 (Serjt Major W J Keyte Royal Drags) and Legion of Honour (loses to enamel) together with a miniature Legion of Honour, an oval photograph of the recipient/see illustration
A Cartier 'Egyptian' onyx and diamond lapel watch, circa 1930, the tapering gilt dial signed Cartier and with yellow metal hands and black arrow indexes, the white enamel bezel with Roman numerals in gilt, the winding crown set with a diamond, the reverse with onyx panel to a border of diamonds, suspended from a diamond and onyx mounted ribbon with pin attachment, total length 9.5cm, gross weight approximately 33.6gm/see illustration Condition Report: 275:Slight scratch to circular onyx. A few minor scratches to onyx back and to enamel bezel, visible under loupe. Dial has missing parts to black line between 3 o'clock and 5 o'clock. Top of pin at hinge looks possibly repaired, copperish colour in this area. Central element to hanger marked 185, lower element marked 186, bail to leaf shaped cap at top of dial marked 9163 (?), back of leaf shaped cap (non-diamond side) numbered .2619. Inner case marked 9704 (?). The dial has discoloration to edge where the metal has met the border.Old Tessiers Insurance valuation dated 14.11.68.
A silver mounted dressing table set, W N Ltd., Birmingham 1930, with blue guillouché enamel backs Condition Report: Overall these have a nice appearance, there are a few minor nubbles/flaws to enamel at corners of the clothes brushes and to a hairbrush but generally the enamel is sound. Silver marks slightly rubbed to some pieces but brushes and mirror seem firmly fixed.
A Victorian 18ct gold cased open faced pocket watch, the white enamel dial signed Dent, 33 Cockspur Street, London 28486 and with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, the movement similarly inscribed and also Dent Watchmaker to the Queen, the case back crested/see illustration Condition Report: 268:95gm approx. gross weight. Ticks when wound but we do not guarantee watches to be in working order.
Ten Brown Westhead Moore & Co. plates, hand painted castles and follies, some signed AG, within moulded, gilt and turquoise enamelled rims, 23.5cm diameter Condition Report: the turquoise enamel has deteriorated to green on two of the plates, but there are no damages and very little rubbing/wear.
