French Ormolu neo-classical style two train clock, the 6.5in white convex enamel dial painted with Roman and Arabic numerals and indistinctly signed, the movement striking on a gong, the Ormolu case surmounted by a pedestal urn with oak leaf swags, the dial surmounted by a ribbon scroll and raised on four foliate scroll cast pillars and on shaped white marble base with Ormolu mounts, height overall 54cm.
An Alastair Norman Grant (20th Century) basse-taille enamelled silver brooch, of daisy form, having sunken and engraved fields filled with achromatizing purple enamel, Edinburgh, 1971, 8.8g Norman Grant was born in Forres, Scotland in 1943 and trained at Grays School of Art in Aberdeen. During the late 1960s Grant began to produce silver jewellery from his garden shed, and immediately found market success. His simplified style fell in-line with the rise in Pop Art, and his psychedelic enamelling suited the mood of the era. In London, shops in the prodigious Burlington Arcade sought his work, together with Liberty of London and Harrods. In the USA both Bonwit Teller and Marshall Field stocked his designs.

Circular condiment jar base with staining, crazing and significant losses to enamels. Cover with two small chips to underside of rim, crazing and slight loss to enamels. All other items in good condition.
