A Rock Crystal, Sapphire, Enamel and Pearl Pendant, the oval rock crystal intaglio carved with a winged lady driving a horse drawn carriage, with four sapphires at the quarters, and a freshwater pearl suspended from the base, enamelled in blue and green on the scrolling frame, signed `W. Bauscher` to the reverse, measures 4.2cm by 7.9cm The pendant is in good condition. It hangs from a jump ring, which may be a later addition. It bears no hallmark, nor stamp, but in our opinion it would test as gold. Gross weight 15.6 grams. CR made 17th September 2014
A Cameo, Pearl and Diamond Pendant, a black and white hardstone cameo centrally depicting a maiden, within a border incorporating a Greek key design, decorated with black enamel and seed pearls, on a pendant bale set with diamonds, measures 3.6cm by 8.8cm This is in good condition. It has a hook for a brooch fastening, but the pin is missing. The pendant bale has a stamp - possibly an owl. Gross weight 18.8 grams. CR made 25th September 2014
A Victorian Locket, the yellow body with a decorative overlay, with black enamel decoration, inset with three seed pearls and an old cut diamond, estimated diamond weight 0.80 carat approximately, measures 3.8cm by 5.9cm The locket is in good condition. The pendant bale looks like it could be a later replacement. It bears no hallmark, nor stamps, but in our opinion it would test as gold. The diamond measures; 6.66mm x 5.62mm (depth unobtainable). The approximate qualities of the diamond are; colour H/I, clarity I1/I2. The diamond has a fairly substantial chip to the girdle. Gross weight 21.0 grams. CR made 12th August 2014
A Royal Artillery Sweetheart Brooch, modelled in yellow gold, with red and blue enamel to the crown and motto `UBIQUE QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT`, with a diamond set wheel, measures 5.1cm in length The brooch is in good condition. It fastens with a pin and hook catch. The bar is white fronted and in our opinion this would be a platinum fronting. The brooch is stamped `15CT` and in our opinion it would test as gold. WW1 Interest: A German Silver and Enamel Cigarette Case, SY & Wagner, the rounded rectangular case enamelled to the cover with a signature and inset with a ruby, with sapphire cabochon press, inscribed to the interior Nach glucklicher heimkehr von der Somme. Stenay, 8 October 1916, 9.5cm high, 3oz 8dwt, in an SY & Wagner fitted case, The inscription translates as After a happy return from the Somme. Stenay is a commune in north-eastern France and was one of the last villages to experience fighting during WW1. Inscribed to the rim SY & WAGNER BERLIN 937, minor loss to enamel name on front, no other obvious damage. Due to the setting of the stones we are not able to be 100% sure the stones are not synthetic.
