Thomas Russell & Son, A gold pocket watch, the white enamel dial having black Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands and signed 'Thos. Russell & Son, 84602', the three-quarter plate movement having a lever escapement with a split bimetallic balance, and signed 'Thos Russell & Son, Makers to the Queen, Church Street, Liverpool, 84602', the inside of the case hallmarked for 18ct gold, Chester 1892 and a repeat of the serial number, diameter 38mm.
Waltham Vanguard, A 9ct gold hunter pocket watch, the white enamel dial having black Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial, gold spade hands and signed 'Waltham', the movement having a lever escapement with engine turned decoration to the backplate and signed 'Vanguard, Waltham, Mass. 14199381', giving an approximate date of manufacture of 1906, the full hunter case signed and numbered 'A.L.D., 21558' for the Dennison Watch Case Co, and hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham 1909, diameter 50mm.
Hampden Watch Co., A gold plated pocket watch, the white enamel dial having black Arabic numerals, red five minute numerals, blued steel spade hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and signed 'Hampden Watch Co.', the movement having a lever escapement with a split bimetallic balance, engraved with the maker's trademark, serial number '3077354', giving an approximate date of manufacture of 1915, and movement type number '109', the gold plated screw back case having engine turned engraving to the rear and stamped inside 'Dueber, 9930845', diameter 48mm.
Elgin, A gold plated hunter pocket watch, the white enamel dial having black Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial, blued steel spade hands and signed 'Elgin', the movement having a lever escapement with an overcoil hairspring to the split bimetallic balance, signed to the backplate 'Elgin Natl Watch Co, USA, 16905738', giving an approximate date of manufacture of 1912, the gold plated full hunter case having engine turned decoration to both covers and signed and numbered 'Keystone watch case Co, 5580580', diameter 50mm.
Zenith, A silver alarm pocket watch, the white enamel dial, signed 'Zenith', having luminous Arabic numerals and hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and alarm setting dial at 12 o'clock, set via a button to the side of the case, the movement having a lever escapement with the backplate stamped 'Zenith, Swiss made', with a coiled gong for sounding the alarm, the rear of the case opening to form a stand and stamped with an import mark for silver, diameter 46mm.
Bristol Goldsmiths Alliance, A gold open faced pocket watch, the white enamel dial having black Roman numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial and blued steel spade hands, the case hallmarked for 18ct gold, London 1891, the movement having a lever escapement and signed 'Bristol Goldsmith's Alliance Company, Langford' (for William Langford & Sons), in the original leather case signed as above, diameter 50mm.
Faberge, An enamelled, gold, bowenite and rose diamond mounted cane handle, workmaster Michail Perchin, St Petersburg, with pale green bowenite ball above a collar decorated with translucent pink guilloche enamel with applied gold wreaths of laurel and between rose-diamond set bands, 65mm high, 56 standard, marks struck on collar below bowenite ball and on underside of tubular section at base, scratched on underside of tubular section with numbers possibly 255K, 672, K44, with an inserted gilt screw fitting together with a brown parasol, the shaft stamped Brigg & Sons.

John Gale, London, A George III mahogany pad top bracket clock, the five pillar, double fusee movement having an anchor escapement and striking the hours on a bell, the backplate engraved with foliate decoration and a central cartouche bearing the initials 'J G', the arched case surmounted with a brass carrying handle with moulded edges and arched fret cut brass panels to the sides on a moulded plinth base, the eight circular enamel dial having black Roman numerals and having gilt metal foliate spandrels to the four corners with enamel subsidiary calendar dial and 'strike/silent' dial to the arch signed 'John Gale, London', height 42cm, together with an associated mahogany and gilt metal mounted wall bracket. *John Gale is recorded as working in Lamb Street, Spitalfields, London from 1790 until 1844.
Vincenti, Paris, A French 'four glass' mantel clock, the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half hours on a gong with a twin tube mercury compensating pendulum, the backplate stamped with the trademark of the maker Vincenti et Cie, the two-piece white enamel dial having black Roman numerals, decorative blued steel hands and the visible dead beat escapement, having a Corniche style brass 'four glass' case with glazed sides, height 30cm. *Vincenti et Cie are recorded as working at Rue d'Anjou au Marcus, Paris from 1850 as makers of roulant blancs and complete clocks.
A French boulle mantel clock, the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell with an outside countwheel, the decorative gilt brass dial having blue Roman hour numerals to the white enamel cartouches and blued steel hands, the red waisted tortoiseshell case inlaid with engraved brass to the front and sides with a glazed aperture to the front revealing the pendulum bob in the form of a sun goddess, with further applied gilt metal mounts, height 31cm.
Martinot a Paris, A 19th century French blonde tortoiseshell and brass inlaid bracket clock in the Louis XIV Boulle style, the eight-day duration movement striking the hours on a bell, the backplate stamped 'C Taylor & Son, Paris & London', the shaped rectangular case with gilt metal mounts, urn finials and female caryatids and maskheads, the glazed door enclosing a gilt metal dial with black Roman numerals to the white enamel Roman cartouche chapters and engraved with outside Arabic minutes, with the white enamel plaque signed 'Martinot a Paris', height 50.5cm, a/f. *The Martinot clockmaking dynasty was founded in 1549 by Gilbert Martinot and continued into the late 19th century. Charles Taylor & Son are recorded as working in London and Paris from before1840 until 1881.
A Liberty & Co silver Jewellery Box, the silk lined and padded hinged lid painted with the Liberty trademark and inset with an oblong enamel panel of a lake landscape by Fleetwood Charles Varley, signed "Varley" Birmingham 1922. 5 3/4" (13.5cms) x 3 1/2" (9cms). (small chip in bottom left corner).
