LARGE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH ORMOLU PORCELAIN MANTEL CLOCK maker Jean Baptiste Delettrez (1816-1887), the elaborate gilt case embellished with hunting horn crest and stags heads flanking the circular enamel dial with Roman numerals and Breguet hands, and retailers T.Shaw, Paris, above a porcelain panel painted with figures on horse back and dogs hunting boar, indistinctly signed on reverse, the large circular movement stamped `JBD` in an oval and also `T.Shaw Glasgow & Paris` and numbered 35357, the brass pendulum also marked and with matching number, the whole on lobed circular feet and fluted giltwood stand and a further ebonised stand, the clock measures without stands 44cm high, 52cm wide This is in good condition and the movement in working order. No losses or repairs or restorations. The glass dome is missing.

Mechanism appears to work but needs servicing.

GEORGE III 13-INCH ARCHED ENAMEL CLOCK DIAL AND MOVEMENT maker Walter Scott of Lauder (circa 1780), the arch painted with a horseman and dog, above a Roman chapter with Arabic quarters, five minute spears and minute track, subsidiary seconds and date dials, the movement with four knopped pillars chiming on a bell, 46cm high The dial has a craquealeur, but otherwise is in good condition.
A WWII Air Ministry nickel cased open faced navigation watch by H Gourlay & Son Ltd, London, the white enamel dial named and numbered ""267"" also marked ""AW"" with crows foot mark, outer movable graduated black ring, the back of the case engraved ""HS4"" with crows foot, 6.5cms diam probably used by Observer in Fairey Swordfish. Provenance: Belonged to the vendor`s uncle who was an observer in the Fleet Air Arm flying in Fairey Swordfish biplanes with 705 sqdn. He is believed to have been attached to HMS Renown and was involved in the chase and eventual crippling of HMS Bismark. He was killed sometime between 1941 and 1944 and his effects, including this watch, were passed down through the family.

A fine Russian silver and enamel box, Moscow 189?, maker EK, assay master A.C., the pink engine turned enamel inset hinged oval cover centred by a green enamel oval panel applied with the double headed eagle and applied with a cabochon sapphire "button", within a broad rim chased with ribbon tied floral swags, three-quarters of the base applied with a pair of female sphinx, winged female figure, pair of female masks, each with three small diamonds set into their headdress, and two pairs of opposing swans drinking from a fountain. An Art Nouveau enamel, cultured pearl and sapphire pendant, the pierced oval shaped drop set to the centre with a round cut eight claw set sapphire to the top of two three-leaf shaped mounts set with pale green guilloche enamel, in turn to the top of two leaf shaped bars each set to the bottom with a misshapen baroque pearl of differing lengths on a fixed link, all suspending from two double oval link chain swags, the upper chain threaded through a five seed pearl set oval bale, the lower chains each set with a single seed pearl highlight to the centre, both chains connected together each side by a leaf shaped mount set with similar pale green guilloche enamel, to the bottom of an integral chain with integral tongue fastening. Mount stamped 15ct. Total weight approx. 9.6gms. Total length approx. 23cm.

A Russian enamel Khodynka cup (also known as "The Cup of Sorrows"), produced for the Coronation of Tsar Nicholas II, 1896. Note: The beaker is one of many that were distributed at the Coronation. On the morning of 18 May 1896, over 1,000 people were trampled to death in a stampede for the cups, which were erroneously rumoured to contain a gold coin.
