LNER 'winking eye' Enamel Sign 'LNER Northolt Park Station - Trains To Marylebone' incorporating a right facing arrow. Measures 43" x 32" and although having some loss and damage, this is a scarce type of sign. The station opened in 1926 and was known as South Harrow & Roxeth. It was renamed Northolt Park three years later.
BR(M) F/F enamel Destination Board 26" x 4¾" with the following Destinations, LEICESTER, KETTERING, WELLINGBOROUGH, BEDFORD, LUTON. In good condition with a good colour and shine and a small amount of expert restoration around some of the edges. An interesting enamel, believed to have originated from Trent Station.
LSWR 1d Platform Ticket Machine, C/I construction standing 41" tall. A most wonderful survivor having a makers enamel plate near the bottom which reads: 'Patent No. 2131 of 1910 - This Machine is made and supplied by the British Automatic Company Limited, 14 Appold Street London EC. The upper face has an original, though later BTC plate showing the tickets to now be 2d. Painted in red, no doubt whilst in railway service, one can see the original green paint beneath. A rare opportunity to acquire what can only be described as wonderful.
LSWR enamel 1d Platform Ticket Machine face plate. Fully titled red on white at the top it then states 'Platform Tickets 1D To Be Given Up On Leaving The Platform'. Measures 10" x 4½" with cut-out for key. Superb condition with just the usual edge wear of no significance. A Great rarity possibly not seen before at any Railway auction.

Queensland Railway enamel Target TARINGA. The station is on the Ipswich line a few miles from the centre of Brisbane. The town name is derived from the Aboriginal words tarau (stones) and nga (made up of), together, they mean "place of stones". Measures 32" x 20" and has bevelled edges with central panel showing the name in white lettering on a dark green ground and the outer circle in white with pale green periphery. Good overall with some chipping not affecting lettering.
LSWR Preece one, two or three wire Block Instrument Switch Handle. Wooden base with brass and wood handle mechanism. Side plate with small brass plate engraved "Line Blocked". Used in conjunction with a larger instrument. Ex Shawford Junction Signalbox. Together with an LSWR small enamel signalbox instrument or shelf plate 'ALLBROOK THROUGH'. Ex Shawford Junction signalbox, Allbrook being between Shawford and Winchester.
Enamel Advertising Sign "Buy Here Rowntrees Gums For Quality & Delicious Flavour". White lettering on blue ground having the chequered border with the letter 'R' in each square. Measures 19" x 12" and has several face chips along with a damaged bottom right corner. Additionally, enamel Advertising Signs, qty 4 comprising 'No Smoking', red lettering on white measuring 16" x 10" in excellent condition; 'W.E. Smith Prize Medal Mineral water Sold Here', white lettering on red ground measuring 18" x 12½", some areas of face chipping; 'Don't Get Wet - Macintoshes, Raincoats, Oilskins, Umbrellas Stocked In All Prices', maroon with light blue shadow lettering on white ground, measuring 18" x 30½", some face chipping and loss; 'The Celebrated Anhydrous Waterproof K Boot' double sided with different text each side, black lettering on white ground, measuring 18" x 13½" with some chipping. Also, a tinplate sign 15¼" x 15¾" 'McDougals Coal Order Office'. Together with a watercolor painting of Midland Railway Compound number 1044 coming head on toward the artist with a passenger train, the coaches curving away from the left. A couple of engines on shed to the extreme left. Mounted in its original, glazed wooden frame, hiding the possible signature and date. Image size 14" x 9½", overall in frame 25" x 20¾". Good condition for age, c1920's.
Enamel Advertising Sign 'Venos Lightning Cough Cure - For Coughs, Colds, Flu, Bronchitis, Asthma & Children's Coughs'. Classic blue with white shadow lettering on an orange ground with blue and white border. Measures 20" x 30" and is exceptional condition throughout. Rare to find this sign in such super condition.
