Height 44cm, Length 88cmCondition: The sign has been hung outside and have been exposed to the elements and has a degree of wear. The sign has the enamel worn through on its corners and edges but is quite good overall.
A WWI three medal group awarded to M-31425 L Cpl L. Gurr. A.S.O.formed of 1914 Mons star with bar, Victory and war medals, suspended on ribbons, accompanied by and 'Old Contemptibles' lapel pin, a 'For Services Rendered lapel pin, an ASC silver and enamel brooch, a black and white photograph of L. Gurr, and an associated Victory Medal awarded to 23890. 2.A.M. R.D. Moore R.F.C., (qty)Condition: Fair condition with surface wear and minor impact marks.
A Mappin & Webb gilt brass carriage clock and two other examplesthe white enamel dial with Roman numerals and minute markers, with an 8 day movement, the bevelled five glass panel case with reeded pillar corners, back plate stamped,'D161', including a French example, the white dial with minute dial, dial signed, 'L'Epee Fondee en 1839 Sainte Susanne France, backplate stamped, 'L'Epee 1889,' with a gilt brass case with fluted corners, and another French white dialled brass cased example, (3)two examples 11.5cm high, one 12cm highCondition: M & Webb example with crack to glass, upper right corner. The gilt decoration is tarnished to its top. Others with could do with a clean to their cases. We cannot guarantee the workings of the clocks. We do not have the keys and they are untested.

The second does not go and the third has no winding key. The third example has a chip lower left to the bevelled glass and other small dints to the glass.

A late 19th century French ormolu and Limoges enamel panelled repeater carriage clock with alarm 2.5" diameter white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and minute track, subsidiary alarm dial, blued steel hands, silvered engine turned mask engraved with flowers, 8 day movement with passing striking on a coiled gong, platform escapement with compensated balance, the backplate numbered 1083, the case with ribbed carrying handle over bevelled inspection panel, stepped cornice and dentil moulded frieze supported by three quarter Corinthian column, the sides with Limoges panels painted 'en grisaille' with putti in drapery, one brandishing a sword and blowing a horn the other a laurel wreath and a reed, on a moulded plinth base, with leather travel case Height 20.5cm.Condition: Winding key present. Winds ticks and runs and repeat function and alarm seem to be functional however no guarantee can be offered as to the full working order. Platform replaced. Area with impact bruise bottom right hand corner of Limoges panel with a putto holding a laurel wreath, no significant loses but radial hairlines, only visible on close inspection. Some wear rubbing to case on edges and leather case in fair condition but leather strap has torn through. Cellotape has has been placed over silk hinges of case lid which have worn through.
