BSA, BIRMINGHAM A SCARCE .177 UNDER-LEVER AIR-RIFLE, MODEL 'CLUB', serial no. EE813, for 1959, with blued 18in. barrel, ramp fore-sight retaining tunnel protector, folding leaf rear-sight, automatic loading tap at breech, plain 9 1/2in. air-chamber with four separate rail slots, the top of cylinder etched 'BSA CLUB' the 'BSA' part with an arrow trademark (bright and clear), black stove enamelled trigger unit, plain walnut half-stock with ribbed heel and broad finger-grooves to fore-end, concealed under-lever, some light moth-nipping to enamel otherwise appearing very little used Other Notes: This example is an interesting transitional between the original short-stroke Club and the Airsporter in that by the serial no. EE813, the rifles using the full length air chamber of the Airsporter should be etched 'CLUB MKII' or even 'AIRSPORTER'. This gun also has the one-piece walnut butt as opposed to the laminated three-piece examples found on earlier guns

Good condition. Two minor chips to the black enamel around one eye and the mouth. 2.4 grams. Coral and enamel stick pin – good condition. Small chip to the turquoise enamel. 2.8 grams
Victorian enamel and pearl stick pin in the form of a snake, Victorian enamel and diamond fleur-de-lys stick pin and one other Victorian blue enamel stick pin (3) Snake stick pin – good quality, small loss to the enamel around the neck of the snake, otherwise in very good condition. The pearl has not been tested for natural origin and has a poor lustre, 5.9mm diameter, probably 15ct or 18ct gold but has not been tested. The measurements from the top of the pearl to the tail of the snake is approximately 15mm. Total gross weight approximately 4.3 grams. Fleur-de-lys pin – good condition, slight loss to the enamel at the top / tip. French control mark for 18ct gold but has not been tested. 3.5 grams. Shield-shape stick pin – very good condition. Locket compartment containing a lock of plaited hair, very good condition, probably not gold, circa 1850

Cabochon garnet pin – good condition commensurate with age, probably 9ct or 15ct gold but has not been tested, 2.5 grams. Eagle claw stick pin – probably 15 or 18ct gold but has not been tested, pin is loose, 2.7 grams. Victorian stick pin with black onyx and seed pearl – good condition, losses to the black enamel border, locket compartment to the back, probably 15ct gold but has not been tested, 4.3 grams

Pair of gold cufflinks with textured gold bars with diamond set bands, two other pairs of 9ct gold cufflinks and a pair of silver and blue enamel cufflinks The pair of gold tubular cufflinks test as approximately 18ct gold, not marked, weigh approximately 12.3 grams. The two pairs of 9ct gold cufflinks are in poor condition and weigh approximately 8.3 grams. The silver and enamel cufflinks are in good condition
Five antique stick pins to include a Victorian polychrome enamel Fox head stick pin, George III stick pin, three other stick pins and a Victorian enamel plaque depicting a Hound, dated 1875. (Qty: 6) Fox head stick pin is in excellent condition, probably 15ct gold but has not been tested. 16mm diameter. 3.8 grams. George III stick pin is in very good condition commensurate with age, the decoration is three dimensional depicting a bunch of roses using hair and wax and paint on an ivory ground, surface dirt beneath the glass. Rose gold setting. The oval panel measures approximately 20.5 x 14.3 mm. 2.5 grams. the enamel plaque depicting a hound is unmounted, signed W? B Ford 1875. Diameter 17.5mm three other stick pins are in good condition
Georgian 18ct gold and black enamel mourning ring, the shank engraved ‘Josh. Hallewell Ob. 10th Mar: 1827 Ae 65’, in original red leather box with retailer’s label Radford’s, Leeds. Finger size approximately N/O. In truly amazing condition, it doesn’t look like it has been worn, the cast floral edge is still sharp to the touch. Enamel is also perfect. Clear hallmarks London 1826 and clear inscription. The original box is also in perfect condition and still has the original retailer’s label which reads ‘Radford’s Goldsmiths and Jewellers, Leeds - Mourning Rings Expeditiously made’. Ring weighs approximately 6.4 grams, band width 9mm.

(Qty: 5) 15ct gold peridot brooch is in good condition and weighs approximately 3 grams pendant is in very good condition, not hallmarked but probably 9ct gold. 1.9 grams RAF sweetheart brooch- repairs to the lettering and losses to the enamel. 3.6 grams Bow brooch is 9ct gold, lacks hook for pendant, steel pin, Birmingham 1908, 1.3 grams Edwardian garnet flower bar brooch is in good condition, possibly silver gilt.
Imperial Russian Fabergé egg pendant with Imperial Russian Lifeguard Regiment helmet surmount and red and white guilloché enamel decoration, marked on ring with Fabergé mark, gold mark 56 and the St. Petersburg mark, workmaster’s mark E.K for Erik August Kollin, 25mm high, together with five other Imperial Russian egg pendants to include ruby, diamond and white guilloché enamel egg, ruby cloverleaf and white enamel egg, a gold diamond ruby and emerald egg, a nephrite and diamond egg with anchor and snake mounts on chain and a quartz egg pendant (6) Imperial Lifeguard helmet egg pendant is marked on ring with Fabergé mark, gold mark 56 and the St. Petersburg mark, workmaster’s mark E.K for Erik August Kollin. There is loss to the red enamel, the white enamel is in good condition. 25mm high x 9mm. Weight approximately 2.73 grams. Ruby, diamond and white guilloche enamel egg pendant- marked 56 on ring. Further mark on the jump ring which is indecipherable. There is one ruby missing and a small chip to the enamel beneath the circle, otherwise in very good condition. 10.9mm x 21mm. Weight approximately 3.79 grams. Ruby cloverleaf egg pendant- marked on the jump ring with workmaster’s initials A.K. 56. Minor chips to the enamel with associated discolouration/tarnishing. 11mm x 20mm. Weight approximately 4.37 grams. Gold egg pendant with rubies, emeralds and diamonds - very good condition, marked 56. No other marks, 16mm x 9.75mm. Weight excluding the chain is approximately 3.88 grams. The chain is fairly modern and is 18ct and weighs approximately 4.87 grams. Nephrite jade egg pendant - very good condition, snake has a ruby eye. Set with rose cut diamonds, not marked, possibly platinum, 23mm x 13mm. Weight approximately 4.52 grams. The chain weighs 2.97 grams. The quartz egg is missing a mount. The ring is marked 56 and has a workmaster’s initials which is indicypherable. 23mm x 11.3mm. Weight approximately 2.86 grams.

Rare and unusual George III combination scent bottle and tooothpick case, the toothpick compartment with mirrored interior enclosed by a bright cut engraved silver lid inset with an opaline glass panel ‘L’Amitié’, the opposite side inset with an enamel panel with Prince of Wales feathers and ‘Souvenir D’Amitie’, faceted cut glass body and silver lid, in original fitted red leather covered travel case. 12.5cm In excellent condition commensurate with age. No obvious damage or repairs. The enamel panel has very minor hairline cracks commensurate with age. The glass body is perfect and still retains the original internal glass stopper. The silver cap has a very minor shallow dent, the thread still works well and screws shut tightly. The original leather case is also in excellent condition, one brass hook/catch needs replacing. Gross weight approximately 121 grams including the case.
