No further marks to this piece. The pince nez also unmarked with heavy tarnishing in parts.

General surface wear to the chain. There are no hallmarks so we cannot say what the carat is.

The small brush with a small chip to the enamel at either end where the foliate detailing sits, other slight surface wear to the enamel. Silver lightly tarnished with some rubbing to hallmarks. The hand mirror with a small blind chip to one of the corners and other light surface patina wear of little scratches to the enamel. Silver surface lightly tarnished and with general wear. Long rectangular glass jar with a few slight pin head sized nicks to the glass but nothing serious. The enamel is okay, the silver with light tarnishing. The hand held mirror with several small scratches to the mirror plate. General tarnishing to the silver and some light scratches to the silver. Rubbing to the hallmarks. The interior with some dark staining from previous perfume. There are three small chips to the enamel on the top edge and two smaller ones near to the hallmarks, these are all fairly small. Widest of the glass bottomed toilet jars also with a few pin head sized nicks to the glass. Silver lightly tarnished. Enamel with slight surface patina, but essentially okay. The button hook with some rusting and tarnishing to the hook section. Silver surface lightly tarnished. Enamel with two very slight nicks at the edge. The shoe horn with light surface patina to the horn section, light tarnishing to the silver, there may be a repair to the widest part of the join where the shoe horn section is attached to the handle. Enamel with a couple of slight little edge chips, nothing serious.

Light surface scratches to the glass, does not tick when wound so presumed not working, no guarantee of working order. When wound the watch runs for around 7 or 8 seconds, but stops. Diameter of case 47mm. Case maker's initials are MK. The cover does close firmly with no gaps. We cannot take an image of the movement as it is a fixed back.Very minimal dents and scratches to to case and back, the back cover hinges are clean from play, there is a separate cap covering the movement.

A 19th century French Palais Royale gilt metal and enamel jewellery casket, of square form, the exterior inlaid with geometric bands and floral motifs on winged grotesque beast legs and claw and ball feet, the interior with a cushioned silk lining to the underside of the lid and the base, height 10cm, width 17.5cm.Additional InformationThe lid closes but perhaps ever so slightly off sync with the base, when the lid is closed there is slight gap between the lid and the side on the right hand side, the gilt metal band running around the edge of the lid is lacking four pins and is loose at the back right edge, gilt metal surface with general light age wear, there are losses to the enamel on the lid particularly to the red and blue in the central section and to the four corners, internally the silk lining has begun to perish and is discoloured, when open the lid section is loose from the flange at the back left corner, despite fault overall appearance ok.
A late 18th century facetted green glass scent bottle and later stopper in the manner of James Giles, decorated throughout with flowers with gilt highlighting, the hallmarked silver lid Birmingham 1899, height approx 7cm.Additional InformationThe stopper with a chip and some small nibbles. The enamel with approx. 16l losses here and there revealing an indentation in the glass where the loss is. General rubbing and grazes to the enamel and some rubbing to the gilding. The glass with possibly two slight chips at the shoulder. The glass facets with some light scratches and grazes. There is a mark internally at the neck which appears to be a manufacturing flaw. The cover is not original but is a good fit, this has a small hole at one of the makers marks and general patina of small dents.

Traces of gilt to the underside of the handle and to the rim. There is a small blind chip in the green enamel. There is also a shallow chip to the green enamel at the upper edge. There is a small chip to a red enamel section to the left of this and a small loss to the green between this red section and the rim.
