Third Reich Mothers Cross Medal in Gold with Original Case of Issue by Franz Reischauer Oberstein, good example of a gold grade medal with enamel centre. Complete with its original ribbon. Housed in the leatherette case of issue with makers details to the interior lid. Generally good example.
Rare Hitler Youth Deutschland Lager Welttreffen d HJ 1935 Event Badge, fine quality white metal and enamel breast badge in the form of a stylised eagle with enamel HJ emblem to the centre of the chest. The eagle is sitting upon a globe with flames coming out of and across the centre, ‘DEUTSCHLAND LAGER JULI-AUGUST 1935 WELTTREFFEN.D.HJ’. Reverse with pin and catch fixing.
WW2 Royal New Zealand Air Force Pilots Wing, fine quality embroidered pilots wing with NZ to the centre of the brown laurel wreath and red centres to the crown; Royal Canadian Air Force Chaplains wing with blade fixings to the reverse; Bermuda RAF nationality cloth shoulder title; gilt metal and enamel South African Air Force mess dress pilots wings, plus other items. Scarce Transitional Pattern SS (Schutzstaffel) Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by Carl Eickhorn Solingen, fine example with black ebony grip retaining the original eagle and enamel SS runes device. Plated mounts with some lifting. Housed in its original scabbard with plated mounts which show some spotting. Good condition double edged blade with motto “Meine Ehre heist Treue” in gothic lettering. Reverse side of the blade has the Eickhorn Solingen logo and also the RZM mark with 941/38 and SS runes. Some expected wear but generally a good example. SS mans daggers with the transitional blades having makers mark and RZM mark are very hard to find compared to that of the SA dagger.
1930’s 18ct Gold, Platinum and Diamond Royal Air Force Sweetheart Brooch Retailed by Harrods, London, superb quality brooch in the form of a pair of Royal Air Force pilots wings produced in 18ct gold and finished in platinum with green enamel wreath and red enamel to the interior of the crown. The brooch is mounted with small cut diamonds to the wings and crown. Brooch pin fitting to the reverse. Housed in the original Harrods, London leatherette case. CONDITION REPORT: Wingspan is 6cms, height 2cms. Weight 7grams. Condition is very good with just one potentially missing stone. The leather case shows some wear with one of the feet now absent.
Third Reich Sturmabteilung (S.A) Dress Dagger by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, good untouched example with wooden grip having early copper based nickel silver eagle and enamel SA device inserted. Nickel silver mounts with patina. Reverse of the cross guard stamped ‘Ns’. Housed in early pattern anodised scabbard with nickel silver mounts, these again with nice patina. Mounted to the hanging ring is a brown leather two piece hanging strap. Double edged blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’. Reverse of the blade with makers trade mark. Some spotting to the blade and patina to the exterior fittings. Blade 22 ¼ cms, overall 38cms.

Middleton Rettie & Sons, Aberdeen: a Victorian granite and enamel brooch and button set, each piece with a central granite panel polished to a point surrounded by blue Greek key pattern bezel, set in silver, stamped with the maker to reverse of each piece, the brooch 4.3cms diameter, the buttons 2.2cms diameter, 36.8g gross, in original fitted leather case.Note: The jeweller Middleton Rettie established his business at Aberdeen in 1824. The business became styled as M. Rettie & Son (c.1839) when William Rettie joined the firm, and later another son, James, also became a partner (c.1845). Rettie and Son worked between 1824 and 1892 and were well known for their jewellery using local granite.
A fine and unusual pair of Victorian diamond and carved garnet parrot on perch pattern earrings, each set with carved garnet wings, rose cut diamond head and tail, ruby eye and green coloured enamel belly reverse side, perched on an 18ct yellow gold swinging perch with seed pearl terminals, on shepherds crook fitting, 7.3g gross, 3.9cms high, 2.0cms wide.

Arts and Crafts Newlyn beaten silver spoon hallmarked for London 1910, maker's mark 'R.T.D.', probably Reginald Thomas Dick, the reverse of the shell shaped finial centre marked 'Newlyn Enamel', all hand hammered. 13cm long approx. Together with another 19th century leaf design foliate caddy spoon, Birmingham hallmarks, makers initial G U, 10cm long approx. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Enamel is missing. Good clear hallmark (impressed marks). No obvious damage to spoon. Other spoons - a little grubby, bu no obvious damage and appears complete.
