Lynton Vicars, ESQ", hallmarked Birmingham, 1938, the realistically modelled lighthouse with hinged finial cover to top, engraved pattern number 373219.
A late 19th century mahogany bracket clock by Kenneth Maclenan, London. With single pad top, brass carry handle, brass fish-scale side frets, brass ogee bracket feet and rounded arched pediment framing the dial. Brass spandrels frame a round enamel face with Roman numeral chapter ring. Subsidiary dial for the months and a strike/silent adjuster. The backplate is engraved with an intricate foliate design. Double fusee movement with anchor escapement, striking on a six bell carillon and a single hemispherical bell. With pull chord quarter repeater. 36 x 26cm.
