Walter Gilbert (British, 1871-1946), a Bromsgrove Guild enamelled bronze presentation key, the key with an enamelled armorial within foliate scrolls and above an engraved inscription 'CONCILIO.ET.LABORE', engraved on the reverse 'August 4th 1927', above the shaft engraved 'Presented to Mr A.H.Burgess FRCS by A.J.Murgatroyd FRIBA', 14.3cm long, in a fitted Bromsgrove Guild case (2)Generally good, enamel in good condition. The case is slightly scuffed and scratched.

One has a hairline in the centre. One has a rim chip (larger on the reverse side). Some crazing.
A Bristol coffee cup and saucer, circa 1775, part spirally fluted with scalloped rims, polychrome decorated with floral swags, gilt highlights, the cup with crossed swords mark, the saucer with gilt mark and measuring 12.75cm diameterThe saucer has a small area of professional restoration on the rim, and the cup has a small spot of restoration on the inside of the rim too. Some spots of enamel wear to the cup. Otherwise in good condition.
His Imperial Majesty Tsar Nicholas I, Emperor of Russia, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Finland (1825-1855), Fine Imperial Russian Presentation gold, diamond and enamel badge converted to a brooch with crowned Cyrillic N (H) within oval cage work, finely set with diamonds on blue enamel ground fitted with later pin clasp 4.8 x 3.5 cm, in associated late 19th century velvet covered fitted box with additional gold and blue enamel pendant mount. The box supplied by Mrs Newman, Goldsmith and Court Jeweller 10, Savile Row, London. Tsar Nicholas I visited Britain in 1844, staying with Queen Victoria at Windsor Castle and was known to have given many gifts to courtiers and servants during his stay.Excellent condition, the enamel is in very good condition, one very tiny spot of enamel is missing on the H, possibly within its manufacture. Unsure as to whether the fitting has been altered, it is likely that it was designed as a pendant and the pendant loop has been detached when the brooch fitting was added. Total gross weight approximately 21.5 grams.
