CONDITION REPORT: Surface wear to case. Mild crack from lower edge to secondary dial.
A Swiss 935 standard silver cased open face manual wind pocket watch bearing Swiss three bears mark, the white enamel dial bearing Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial inscribed "H. Samuel made at Buren" diameter 5cm with a Black Forest carved wooden pocket watch stand with folding cover/support, height 10cm. CONDITION REPORT: A small crack to the dial of the watch with a small triangular piece missing.

ROBERT ROSKELL, LIVERPOOL; an eight day drop dial fusee wall clock, the circular enamel dial set with Roman numerals, height 77cm. CONDITION REPORT: Damage to enamel face, pitting and approximately five chips.There is moulding missing to the left hand side and several large veneer chips to the base, moulding missing above the carved supports. No pendulum, no glass to front. The catch on the frame for the glazing is broken. Not known if working. This is a gong not bell strike.
THOMAS GASKELL of Knutsford (active c.1784-1795); a late 18th century mahogany eight day long case clock, the floral decorated broken swan neck pediment above enamel moon faze dial set with Arabic numerals, second subsidiary dial and date aperture flanked by fluted columns above shaped arched single door on plinth base with bracket feet, height 231cm. CONDITION REPORT: This has not been working whilst in the saleroom. Top finial detail possibly added late. Chip to moulding on finial. Left hand side of hood missing crossbanding. Chip to door on hood at bottom and two old wood worm holes, crack to base panel veneer. Wear commensurate with age.
MOORCROFT; a small enamel snowdrop pattern decorated baluster vase, height 7cm, and a boxed matching circular trinket box with hinged lid, both dated 1998, and a "Moorcroft: A Guide to Moorcroft Pottery 1897-1993" book by Paul Atterbury (3). CONDITION REPORT: Both enamel pieces in good condition the book has some wear to dust jacket.
A 1930s 18ct Masonic jewel, Holte Lodge No.1246, centred with a squirrel with a diamond set eye above buildings, suspending a blue enamel heightened set square set with three tiny diamond chips and with a presentation inscription to the verso "Presented to W Bro. Wm Harris, W.M 1935 (...)", Vaughton and Sons, Birmingham 1935, in fitted case.
An 18th century Mughal Looking Glass, the rectangular frame surmounted with a repoussé silver crest containing two opposing peacocks divided by floral ornament, the rectangular frame with cut gilt metal sectional decoration depicting scenes from an Indian nobles life, the gilt metal and engraved figures against a green enamel background, the centre bottom border with Sanskrit inscription, mirror plate replaced and later reparations, 37.5cm x 24.5cm
A selection of 18th century Chinese Ceramics including Plates decorated with chrysanthemum in the Famille Rose palette and two 18th century Chinese Cups (6) CONDITION REPORT: There is fritting and small chips to the edges of plates (nothing major) although one Plate exhibits a "star crack" visible front and back, there is some wear to the edges of the enamel of Plates and other decoration etc., the two Cups are generally OK although there is some rim fritting to one Cup and black speckling in glaze etc.,
An early 20th century Chinese rectangular cloisonné box with hinged lid, the cover typically decorated with two Imperial yellow Chinese dragons with five claws (representing the Emperor) contesting a central flaming pearl of wisdom, the sides of the Box similarly decorated, raised on four ball style feet, 12cm wide CONDITION REPORT: The interior has been painted green with a large area of "skin" away to underside of lid, the cloisonne enamel to the sides appears in reasonable order for age although the back of the lid near the hinge has three or four match head sized pieces of enamel away and the metal showing is somewhat dark.
A good pair of 19th century Mintons Cabinet Plates, each very finely hand decorated with children amongst country surroundings, the pierced blue key fret border gilt decorated and with blue enamel, one Cabinet Plate with impressed marks to underside including diamond registration lozenge and Mintons, the other also with impressed marks and a transfer mark for the Retailer Jeremiah Rhodes, Darley Street, Bradford, each Plate 24cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: On inspection (under a glass) the surface glaze appears glazed but this cannot really be seen with the naked eye on the top decorated sections, paint work is very good and bright and plates appear to have been looked after, slight glaze crazing to underside of plates at edge, plates look in excellent overall order for age.
A very fine circular Oriental silver and enamel lidded Box, the cover decorated with a crowned seated Buddha with Buddhistic style staff, a gilded Shou character appears to the top right against the black enamel, the cover with thumb- piece and opening to reveal a selection of various hallmarks to the inner lip, gilded interior and plain silver base, 13.75cm diameter
A collection of 20th century silver engine-turned, enamel-topped ladies Dressing Table Accessories, to include an Adie Brothers Limited circular yellow enamel Compact, a circular blue enamel Pill Box, a pink enamel Atomiser and Brush, and a turquoise enamel engraved Powder Pot, various dates (5) CONDITION REPORT: The small blue enamel lidded box is "slightly" off circle, the yellow enamel box appears good although there is rubbing to the enamel near the thumb piece, the atomiser exhibits wear in several places to the pink enamel.
An early 20th century George V silver cased Carriage Clock, the engine linear engraved case surmounted with a silver ribboned and reeded ring with an embossed leaf base above a rectangular case enclosing a circular white enamel dial having black Roman numerals, French movement, supported on bracket feet with a shaped apron, hallmark Birmingham 1912, maker's mark WS, 12cm high (max) x 7.5cm wide x 6.5cm deep CONDITION REPORT: Upper left front corner of case dented, rear left corner dented, rear case door hinge split, other minor dents to case and marks rubbed Upon winding the movement appears good and with a strong tick, from the front the front left hand corner of the clock has been dented and slopes, there is a slight kink to the front right hand foot, some dings to main body etc.,
WATCH RECENTLY CLEANED AND SERVICED A 9-carat gold ladies Rolex Precision Wristwatch, the circular ivory face with Arabic numerals and signed 'Rolex Precision', the bracelet and movement stamped 375, contained within a green and gilt tooled Rolex Box, gross weight (including movement and glass) 22g CONDITION REPORT: Dial appears reasonable for age although upon close inspection under a loop the edges of the dial have minor pieces of enamel away. The hands seem to change OK, winds smoothly and appears to run and in good condition. No major dents to case sides or lugs or back although there is minor surface scratching. There are minor scratches around the ??? area British 9 carat gold hallmark. Box condition is good overall for age, minor scuffing to box extremities etc.,
A Chinese porcelain Bowl hand decorated in enamel in the Famille Rose palette in 18th century style (20th century), the interior of the Bowl painted with a central chrysanthemum below a border decorated with Buddhist style emblems, the exterior of the Bowl similarly decorated with flowers and a fen against a turquoise ground, red seal mark to underside of base, 13.5cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: No real problems we think the bowl is probably early 20th Century in manufacture.
