Núria Nialet (1924 -1984) A study of an Angel holding a flute, glass enamel over foil and copper, subtly convex, signed "Nialet", in a white metal frame, 8.5 cm excluding loop, (tested as silver) [Trained at the Llotja and the Massana Schools. From 1945 she studied and worked in enamelling, under the direction of Miquel Soldevila, and in 1959 she became a drawing teacher at Massana. During the 1950s she exhibited at Barcelona, Tiana, Madrid and Rome.]

A Shelley Queen Anne Part Tea and Coffee Service, circa 1930s, printed and enamelled with Blue Iris pattern, including teapot, coffee pot, milk, sugar & cream; together with other Shelley items (two trays)One teacup with a stained crack encircling the base. Another cup dull sounding but with not signs of cracks. One side plate with a fine crack in the well. Another with a rim crack. Some pieces with minor staining, some light enamel wear. Overall in very good condition and no restoration. White teapot 26cm handle to spout. Some loss to the inner rim of the cover. No further damage.Soup bowls in good condition.

R.A.F, The India General Service Medal, George VI, 1 Bar North West Frontier 1937- 39, 1939-45 Star, France & Germany Star, Defence Medal and War Medal, with Miniatures, together with 3 Log Books 1, 4, 5, starting in 1937 and running to 1945, and including service with 28 (AC) Squadron Ambala, India. He flew Lysander army co-operation aircraft, Wellingtons, Halifax and Lancasters during the later war years ending up as a Squadron Leader at 103 Squadron, Elsham Wolds in 1945. In April the same year he took part in Operation Manna making food drops to people in occupied Western Holland.
