Swiss Cottage tube station, on the Bakerloo Line, opened on 12th December 1939 (to replace the original Metropolitan Line station).

Ormsby, Secretary". Rectangular, 161/2"x151/2", some repaired edge chips including a large one at the base which conceals the verbose Mr. Ormsby's Christian name. Astonishingly rare; I do not know of another.

A Cromford & High Peak Railway enamel LAMP TABLET "HINDLOW". Between Parsley Hay and Ladmanlow, Hindlow was the junction station for the LNWR line from Buxton. It opened in 1894 and closed in 1963. The C&HPR opened in 1830 and operated the line from Ladmanlow to Cromford. It was leased to the LNWR in 1862 and amalgamated with it in 1887. Rectangular, flangeless, 171/2"x43/4", in fair condition. Lettered black on white.

A small GWR luncheon-basket enamel lettered black on white "GWR.No.17 Refreshment Dept. CORWEN". Rectangular, 6"x3", in superb condition with only very minor edge staining. Corwen station, on the Wrexham to Bala line, and junction for the LNWR line to Denbigh, opened in 1865 and closed in 1964.

THIS TARGET HAS NEVER APPEARED FOR SALE BEFORE. Professionally restored and fitted with a new backing-board.
