EDWARD VII: (1841-1910) King of the United Kingdom 1901-10. Vintage signed postcard photograph, the image depicting the King standing in a full length pose against a backdrop of forest trees. Signed (with his initals E R) in bold fountain pen ink to a clear area of the image. Framed and glazed in an unusual silver frame, hallmarked Stokes & Ireland Ltd., Chester, 1907, featuring the King's blue enamel cypher at the head and further engraved at the base 'With best wishes from Alexandra. To General Sir Martin Dillon, Xmas 1910'. 5 x 7 overall. VG The present photograph and frame were evidently presented by Queen Alexandra, consort of King Edward VII, following the death of the King earlier in 1910. Sir Martin Dillon (1826-1913) British General who served in India, the Crimea and China etc. from 1843-92.
[WILHELM II]: (1859-1941) German Emperor and King of Prussia 1888-1918. A fine oversized, drawn trumpet, crystal glass wine goblet with a hexagonal, notch faceted stem and plain conical foot. The glass stands 14 inches tall and the bowl bears a gilt edge and the white, red, black and gold enamel naval standard of the Kaiser. The goblet is believed to have originated from the Imperial yacht, Hohenzollern, and dates from the early 20th century. VG
[EDWARD VII]: (1841-1910) King of the United Kingdom 1901-10. A Royal Crown Derby porcelain breakfast set comprising a plate, cup and saucer in cream, each featuring the gilt cipher of Edward VII, detailed in red, blue and white enamel and with an attractive gilt border. The cup and plate both bear the Royal Crown Derby date stamp of 1903 and the saucer 1909. Each item is in an unused condition and is believed to have been produced for the personal use of King Edward VII. EX, 3

Medieval `Sir John ap Adam` Heraldic Enamelled Horse Harness Stud1299-1310 AD. A cast and enamelled bronze harness stud with square section pin to reverse, the heater shield head depicting the arms of Sir John ap Adam `argent, a cross gules five mullets or` (a red cross on a silver field with five gold stars), with some enamel remaining. 3.97 grams, 21 mm Found near Chepstow, Gloucestershire, UK 2005. Sir John ap Adam (born before 1267, died circa 1310) was the first (and last) Baron ap Adam and lived at Tidenham, Gloucestershire, formerly part of Wales. He was enumerated for Parliament from 1276-1307 and fought at Falkirk in 1298 (his arms are given on the Roll of Arms of Edward I) and was created Lord ap Adam by writ on 6th February 1298/99. His home estates were around Tidenham and a stained glass window in the church of St Mary & St Peter there depicts his arms to this day. He was claimed as a direct ancestor by John Adams and John Quincy Adams, 2nd and 6th Presidents of the United States of America. Fine condition. Very rare.Starting Price: £200
