The interior with a mirror and lined in silk velvet. 1.2 x 9.4 x 3.5 cm Henry was born into Anglo-Irish aristocracy, he succeeded to the peerage in 1757, a Whig politician he was a member of The House of Commons from 1762-1802, and served as Commissioner of the Admiralty and Lord of the Treasury. His son the third Viscount who inherited the title on his father's death was in Government almost continuously from 1807 to his death (he died in office while Prime Minister) in 1865.
